That I must say is nothing but bs. Zardari is in charge, and he is the one they need to talk too. Its like Isrealis, always pretending there is no one to talk to.
All Sardar Manmohan Singh needs to do is to pick up the phone. The problem is that in India there is a lot of political mileage that you can make by being tough with Pakistan. So its short term political calculations that are out weighting long term objectives.
I was watching this Indian comentator, some chap called Swapan Dasgupta, who was positively relishing the distruction of Pakistan. So your government is under a lot of pressure from these Hindu extremist to keep relations poor with Pakistan.
