Thanks for the update with my order Junaid. I appreciate it, and completely understand now after being informed as to 'why' there is delays for my order. i think my frustration was more due to being scammed and the lack of communication/reasoning behind the delays, but thankfully that is resolved.

and Bradistan, i am still waiting for my order, but am aware of the reason for the delay in my order too.

I think all companies have ups and down because one of Mr Juniads customers got a sleeve the put on the wrong way( he did put his hand up and tell us about this) now if you behaved like this with Hira when she ignored your emails I cant emagine your response to a wrongly stitched kameez, imagine if u needed that outfit that week but u had to send it back to pak to get it re stitched!! now that whould be a reason for cussin.
and some of the orders were placed back in April with indusmart and
they havent received their goods, I placed my order in may with Fashion veer and got my order in June a few days later to the agreed date but Hira explained this.
I dont understand why your emails were ignored.

I wouldnt be happy about it ... but something as minor as that .. i would have restitched it myself. even if i didnt need it back within a week ... why would i pay to send it back when its not a very big job?

  1. I dont like it when ppl play games with their customers and
  2. I expect the company to follow their own policies that they've placed on the site themselves ... it was the principle for me. I didnt bring it to a public forum to bash her.

I agree all have ups and downs ... and thats why i kept trying to deal with fashionveeer ... if i was being unreasonable, i would have demanded my money back ... or if she felt i was that unbearbale, she could have just refunded.

after i questioned her, she made up her mind how she wanted to deal with .. simple as.

and like i said it before ... i gave her a timeframe that she was happy with. and i was aware that not everything goes to plan and my time frame accomodated for that.

even the fact that everything may go terribly wrong as i hadnt dealt with her before.

I dont think stitchin a sleeve is that easy, their was embriodery on the sleeve on one side (front) one was front one back, basically you would have to re do the sleeve as it has already been cut. ( I think, im not 100% ) but if its their fault they should fix it!!!

that can't be considered minor but this whole process is manual so people do make mistakes specially when they are in hurry, cause of concern for us was why it was not detected.

it doesn't matter whether we had to redo the sleeve or whole shirt, good thing here is we are redoing it.
we had called back the product at our own expense
showed it to our staff that how negligent they were and also we would be shipping it back to customer at our own expense after it has been done.

i would like to add 95% of our orders are shipped within 20-25 days and in many cases we make and ship and deliver on 10-12 days notice depending on workprocess we have.
above cases were mostly involved with block print we got into some serious issues with our block print facility in the meantime backlog developed and we were in mess, we could have got it done from outside but we dont do that no one knows how it would have been after few washes in that case.

as for hummy and although we couldnt deliver her on deadine but she still got it within 25-30 days despite of delay.

I'll start from the beginning, I placed a jewellery order with Indus mart on the 12th of May 08 and recieved it today, it took over 8 weeks from the date of order to arrive (60 days), I also placed an order for an outfit on the 27th of May which arrived on the 4th June (39 days after order).

There were a few mistakes with the outfit order which resulted in me not wearing it for the required occasion, have'nt worn it at all yet because I was so dissapointed.
The main problem with the kameez was that the neckline was so high that if I wore a chain it would'nt of shown nevermind a necklace.
I will post pictures when I can to show I'm not eggagerating. There was kaam missing from the kameez, minimal kaam on the trouser leg compared to the pic and edging missing off the trousers also. The dupaata seemed very basic. The kaam it self is of good quality and so is the fabric.

The jewellery arrived today without the ring which is suppossed to be part of the set, ive e mailed Junaid about this and am still waiting for a reply, I asked if there was any compensation for the situation that I have been left in but I am also still waiting for a reply to that e mail as well.

The suit cost me $450, the set $308 which in my opininon is not cheap. I was expecting an extra special outfit.

I must stress that I am not here to slander Indus mart or bad mouth them in any way I am just giving my honest opinion, I had to e mail every week to ask for an update and was told in more or less every e mail that it was due to be shipped that week and this was from the end of May. I understand delays occur but the info I was given was very non specific, I just wanted to know what was going on.

I will leave you people out there to decide what you make of this!

Did you reci the other order you made after all the trouble you had with fashion veer? Just wondered how it turned out and who you placed the order with.

I have a feeling what 'Bradistan' stands for ... so why did u have to turn online if you have soo many shops around you ... and i know of a couple in your area that does custom design or at least custom tailor u an outfit for one of the designs in their shops ...

Unfortunately, I havent got my money after the trouble with fashionveer ...

even before all that thread started, i had a feeling and bought at least one outfit for the nikah and after wards bought the gharara that someone had ordered but changed their mind ... i asked the guy to keep it for awhile before shipping it back ... and good thing i did :D ... i really like it ... i'll try to post pics when i can ... but i'll be away for awhile for the wedding, so maybe after the wedding now.

Yes, I'm from good old Bradford, the shops here did'nt have what I was looking for, they seem to stock designs from last season and are not really up to date, there's Rani's in bfd that offer custom made but some of ther designs are a bit whacky for me. Bombay stores charge a fortune and use crap materail in my view.

I will post pics when I wear the outfit, we have another close family wed in Aug so will have to grin n wear it on one of 14 days of non stop celebrations, our weddings really do go on, it wud be alrgt if they were all into havin fun but some of our relations are just plain boring!

Anyway have fun at the wedding your attending, is it yours by the way?

I've never had so much trouble ordering online before, I placed an order on the 1st of July but i got an error message "payment was declined - your order was lost" I decided to email them for some help but I never got a reply, 1 week later they decide to take payment from my account! and yet my order is still set at Not Finished, Ive continuously sent emails but again no-one has bothered to get back to me, so I have no idea whats going on looks like Ive just lost my money, unless I can get some help I don't think I'll be ordering from Indusmart again.

For anyone still following this thread here is a pic of the outfit I reci from Indusmart, I was supposed to reci sum plain red trousers last week but theres no sign of them yet! It was agreed with Junaid that rather than sending the kameez back for alteration he would send me some plain red trousers instead but like I said they are not here yet, I was also suposed to recieve $25 for the missing ring from the set I ordered but nothing ther either.

Gonna try adding the photo now, lets hope this works!
