Just an update,
I got my delivery from Indusmart today, and as promised it was before Eid. The material is beautiful crepe silk, and everything Mr. Junaid says on his website is true: hand finished, hand embroidered details, nice lining not the horrible cheap stuff, pure jamavar piping, overlocked seams, hidden zipper, just beautiful and reasonable price.
But............ isn't there always a but? It's short sleeved. I don't wear short sleeves, I ordered full sleeves.
My husband saw the package when it arrived, and well after all the hundreds of dollars wasted online he put his foot down. I am banned from online shopping and to be honest I have had it also. So, after 2 years, suits from indusmart, kaneesha, rupayat fashions, ladyline, designersalwarkameez, runalaila, and others, I am done.
The outfits I have had from indusmart have been worth it, delivered late or not at all, I still wear them and have recieved compliments even on $50 outfits. When he gets it right, it works out well.
So as a testament to my folly, or desperation, I shall not return the outfit or ask for money back, it will hang in my wardrobe to remind me - never again will I google: salwar kameez and waste time chasing this dream of being well dressed.
Never again will I wait anxiously for the fedex guy to come to the door, oh! the heart racing moments of tearing open a package, the joy of a well made suit and the more common desperate howl of pain when it's not right or somethings missing. Never again will I subject my friends to my almost-tearful phone calls "I got my suit today, it's terrible what am I going to do?"
I will go back to buying overpriced, badly tailored, 3 hours to alter, iffy fabric, iffier sewing, choice of 3 or 4 long sleeve suits in a store of 300+ suits, in the local indian store.
I'm done.
my apologies for sleeves error, most probably dress style was followed.
i would send you the reasons via email.
i would try my level best to deliver you shirt separately before eid or on morning of eid day & inshAllah would be done.
