I do not know about the situation of Indus TV's launch in the USA but the launch for the channel in the UK has been delayed until March 2006

The Commission has received a request dated 24 August 2005 from the Canadian Cable Telecommunications Association (CCTA) for the addition of Indus Vision, a non-Canadian service, to the lists of eligible satellite services for distribution on a digital basis (the digital lists). The CCTA described the service as follows: Indus Vision is a 24-hour general interest programming service originating from Pakistan and offering programming in the Urdu language. The service offers a wide variety of programming including dramas, sitcoms, game shows, cooking shows, talk shows, news, infotainment and children’s programming.

No, and they probably wont be for a while. When they do come, you'll see their promos on the satellite channels, prolly.

I heard they are launching next month in the USA and Canada. My cousin works for them in Karachi and I keep asking him when they are launching....they startd getting their test transmission ready for Indus Vision and Indus Music a week ago....so it will be very soon

Hi ppl does anyone know if Indus TV is being broadcasted in Canada, as I have heard that it has started in Canada.
Also most likely to launch end of this year here in the UK.

Indus TV still on track for UK launch
Pakistani broadcaster Indus TV is still looking at launching on Sky Digital later this year, ending speculation that its license had been revoked by media regulator Ofcom. According to the Director of International Operations, he told Biz Asia the following:
"That was not our license, someone had obtained a license for several years with a name similar to Indus. Ofcom had contacted us, but we had never obtained a license to begin with. We don't plan to obtain a license until nature of our launch deal has been finalised until later in the year."
Indus was planning to launch in the UK last December and then again in March but discussions of launching on the Sky Digital EPG are still ongoing.
