Re: Induction hobs..
what's an induction hob? is it like some uk thing? :p
Re: Induction hobs..
are you talking about flat ceramic cook tops? if you are then i hate mine! food cooks unevenly, it distributes heat unevenly, the 'high' will burn anything in a matter of secs and 'simmer' needs constant peeking because it gives different results for different food, very unreliable. its dangerous to have it around little kids too 'cause the top remains hot a good while after switching it off.
Re: Induction hobs..
Dunno Dramaybazz, I will paste a link of the hob , let me know please if you meant this one :

Hey CB,
we have induction hobs at work to teach cookery on. Personally I don't like them.
The pros-electric is cheaper than gas....
cons....you have to get use to the instant heating up, you can only cook on dish at a time (the hobs we have can only take one pan at a time), you also need pans that are suitable for induction pans as not all pans work on the hob.
yep thats my cooktop, you can read some reviews online to help you out further but i personally hate it.
Re: Induction hobs..

If its Asian food you’ll be cooking, AVOID induction./ceramic hobs.
The only hob you need to invest in is a Gas one.
I did lots of reserach before buying - even though electric or dual fuel cookers are cheaper, there will only be tears in your house!!
Gas oven. Gas grill. Gas hob!
