How r u all? I’m 39 week pregnant and will be 40 week on monday INSHALLAH. My dr said she will wait one week more after due date for induction. I’m confused is this ok? Plus caN it will be harmful for baby? Can induction at 40 week is ok or should I wait one week more?

Nothing wrong with inducing labor, if it was harmful for the baby, the doctor wouldn't recommend it

totally normal. some even wait to 42 weeks.

It's fine. Many people are induced. Maybe you will go into labor naturally before then anyway, In Sha, Allah. Try to walk as much as possible ( if your doctor said it's ok ), Try the old fashioned floor mopping ( poocha) that is if you can tolerate it even for a little bit. I tried Raspberry leaf tea a few days before my due date and went into labor a few hours later. My doctor said it was fine to take. But I don't know if it's easily available in Pakistan.
