Indoor greenhouses

Indoor greenhouses may not be suitable for anyone in warm climates because there is probably no need for it. But IF you are into plants and reside in a cold climate where sunlight is at a relative minimum, it might be a good idea. Many of our house plants were not doing that well because of the lack of sunlight they receive (i think they need at least five hours’ sunlight each day). Actually i think the plants were pretty much going to die. So a month ago we had to get this indoor g. house (Canadian Tire zindabad - the picture is from their website):

Not certain if anyone would find this interesting - but if you buy one of those small herb-seed collections, just wait until the herbs have sprouted roots, then place your herb plants inside the greenhouse. After a few weeks’ time, you’ll notice they tend to grow quite well.

Wow this is cool Nadia  :k:

Whenever I think "Indoor Greenhouse", my next thought is always "Pot Factory"....

Being an avid Blue Peter viewer in my youth I remember a programme where they made their own indoor mini green house by cutting an empty 2 ltr plastic soda bottle in half through the middle (remembering to ask an adult to help you when using sharp scissors of course) and placing the top half over the seeds in a compost tray.

Nadia, are you into outdoors gardening?
