Indonesian aircraft company to deliver CN-235 VIP plane to Pakistan

BANDUNG: An Indonesian aircraft company, PT Dirgantara Indonesia, will deliver a special CN-235 plane to Pakistan on Monday, an Indonesian official said. According to Asia Pacific News Agency, Rakhendi Triatna, an Indonesian spokesman, said, “PT Dirgantara Indonesia will hand over the aircraft to Pakistan in a ceremony on Monday. The CN-235 VIP was the last of the four aircraft Pakistan had ordered.” The plane was a presidential aircraft and the previous three were military transport aircraft, he said. Pakistan bought the four planes for US$54 million with US$24 million for the CN-235 VIP and US$10 million for each military transport aircraft, he said. online
