Indo-China border tensions escalate

NEW DELHI- Chinese troops intruded 500 meters and put up tents on Indian territory, as per Indian media reports today. 30 Chinese soldiers invaded Demchok in Ladakh on September 11.
To confront the Chinese troops, around 70 Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel were deployed. Last month, Chinese troops reportedly entered almost 25 km in India and invaded Burtse in Ladakh.
In 2014, 334 incidents of Chinese intrusion into Indian border have been reported. The recent intrusion was reported a few days prior to Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to India. Jinping is scheduled to visit Ahmedabad where he will be meeting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Who knows if this has to do with the hawkish government in India.

Chinese entered 25KMs inside Indian Territory and what this has to do with hawkish government of India and rogue Indian army?

It is nothing more than China putting pressure on India to not get very friendly with US otherwise border tensions will rise.

On the other hand, the Chinese president is visiting India next week and promising to invest billions in indian economy.

They are using the Carrot and Stick approach.
