Has anyone ever watched any independent movie? I happened to watch one a few days back at my friends place and i must say it was a nice treat.
Although the film was low-budgeted movie, but still the direction, acting and story line was quite strong.
I have also heard that such independent film producers do hold a festival every now n then across the US. Does anyone know if they are coming to tri-state area in the near future?

Unfortunately, i don’t.
pumpkin: i don't know of any such festival in the tri-state area...
many of these independent movies are aired in the toronto film festival which is organized every yr...a lot of international movies get a lot of press coverage in that as well...
and yes, most of 'em are every good movies, regardless of the low-budget...alwayz have a strong storyline...

wax: These are the movies which are not produced by any well known film producers nor these movies are star studded. Generally, these movies are low budgeted and produced by independant film makers.
