Fardeen Khan caught with cocaine
Mumbai: Bollywood star-son Fardeen Khan has been arrested for possessing cocaine. Khan’s latest movie, Pyar Tune Kya Kiya, was released just last week and is considered to be a hit.
Fardeen was detained early Saturday morning by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for possession of nine grams of cocaine along with a drug dealer. He had intended to buy one gram of cocaine, said Zonal Director of NCB Ajal Ubale.
Fardeen returned to Mumbai after studies in the US a few years ago. With over half-a-dozen prominent films (including Ram Gopal Varma’s Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega, Venus Films’ Hum Ho Gaye Aapke, Anupam Kher’s Om Jai Jagdish and Mehul Kumar’s Kitne Door Kitne Paas) under his belt, Fardeen is currently regarded a rising star with immense potential.

I feel sorry for him. Somehow I feel that users of drug should not be punished so severely and law should bother more about drug sellers.
He is the son of Feroz Khan of "Qurbani","Janbaaz", etc. fame.

when a coke head kills someone in trying to score some dope or gets in a car wreck or beats up his family members, its a real issue.
drug users should be made to go through intense detox program and behavioral counseling...but they should be monitored closely so they dont cause harm to others around them.
I am a big fan of robert downey jr, his portrayal of charlie chaplin proved that he has massive talent, but his inability to take control of his life is saddening and he should be forced to go thru a detox and a monitored existence for some period of time.
