I think the Indians have put themselves into some sort of a "mental hole" against Mendis.
Mendis wasn't this successful even against Bangladesh and Pakistan in the Asia Cup one dayers. In the couple of games he played in the IPL, he did not do anything out of the ordinary.
I think the reason Sehwag seems to be the only batsman successful against Mendis is because he does not analyze too much.
Indian batsmen (barring Sehwag) have become the victim of over analysis in my opinion.
Yuvraj should go into the 2nd match with the mindset to tonk Mendis for 6 Sixes in an over. There is no point trying to spend time reading his deliveries in an ODI game and let Mendis build up the pressure.
