If Srinath's retirement means that you will come back and post here, we should have him retire on a biweekly basis. :)

I don't know but he never impressed me by his bowling or his personality. Same for Kapil :D

Ashish and Zaheer have class like Pakistani or Aussie fast bowlers.

^A really strange comment,,, I really doubt the truth would support you on that one... It is probably a strech to even call them fast bowlers, try medium fast

Anyhow,,, Srinath's retirement will be a blow for World Cricket, not since Imran Khan has a cricketer dazzled the ladies and batsmen like Srinath.... ahahhahaha
Actually, he was a good bowler, I would agree he is underrated, and I am really impressed he was a CompE,,, imressive.

They were showing Srinath's Goodbye ceremoney during lunch interval of the AUS-IND one-dayer. After Ganguly handed him some trophy and shook his hands he met with all the Indian players who were waiting for him in a line. Aisay marray huey logoN ki tara everybody shook his hand EXCEPT for TWO jiggers - Harbbhajan and Yuvraj Singh.

Why are Indians (other than Punjabi Indians) all so reserve and dead when it comes to greeting people?. I see the same trend here in the USA. Indians never initiate a greeting. Is this cultural?

ANother thing I forgot to mention...some spectators were holding banners that read "Javagal Express" and "Mysore Express".

QUestion for the Indian Guppies: Are you guys still running your trains on coal?

javagal was indeed a good bowler but his most impressive quality was his commitment as well as hard working nature. He was probably only indian bowler who was able to produce reverse swing (to some extent) from an old ball. I still remember his outswingers to saeed anwar with the new ball.......i never liked him because i always felt that he had the potential to take a paki wicket any time more than any other indian bowler...of course he was batter than kapil dev... he had much more speed as well as much more variety than kapil...i am imressed by his education also.. good luck to him

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Man this has to be the “best comment on KK ever”
