India's hidden civil wars

even assuming they are fighting for their 'rights', do you support the fact that they use murder as the technique to do so?

Also expand on what rights you think they are fighting for with some source if you can.

Re: India's hidden civil wars

What is the real problem with Maoists? Naxals? That they have an armed struggle against India?

Re: India's hidden civil wars

BTW what is the official Indian position on Maoists/Naxals? Are they considered terrorists?

Absolutely..

Re: India's hidden civil wars

I read somewhere that despite all the terrorist activities they carry, officially they are still not considered terrorists.

They are considered Militants. Now in this case I don't really get the difference, but this is how they are labeled.

That would be quite strange, but may be some Indian could explain it better.

India Declares Maoists as Terrorists

India’s government has declared the country’s Maoist movement a terrorist organization. The action came after paramilitary forces were dispatched to the state of West Bengal to reclaim a rural town seized by armed guerrillas.

Anyone and everyone is a terrorist and a member of LeT who dares to take a stand against the terrorist activites of India on a state level .

Typical Bhangee mentality.

Moaists are anything BUT terrorists !!

Please, do not divert from discussion at hand… thankoo, OH BTW just for clarification.

ISLAMABAD: Google has officially denied the accuracy of its search trends that claimed Pakistan is the world’s leader in online searches for pornographi

Shri Maoist/Naxalites have a long history, goes way back to 60s... Hey they are also on US list so India should be happy with new master.. :)
