So a Pakistani has a political opinion against India. Well that's 90% of Pakistan for you. And don't think the Indians like us. A friend of mine at work told me recently when we were talking about the bad state of affairs in Pakistan, he says that he wishes well on Pakistan but that everyone in his family in India says Pakistan is deserving what it gets.
There are people there that enjoy seeing us suffer. :( So hate goes both ways.
Actually I don't think there is one neighbor that Pakistan is good friends with. The afghanis hate us, Indians hate us, Bengalis wish we never existed. Maybe the Sri Lankans are cool with us? The Nepali's are pretty chill people, I don't think they could hate anyone. The iranis - I don't think they care about us...they don't really mention us in their speeches.
So either we're hated, or we're invisible to people because we matter that little. :)
Well i feel very weird knowing that 90% Pakistanis hate (us) Indians. I'll tell you my side of the story.
No sensible Indian (or for that matter no sensible person) would hate on the people of Pakistan. People who do are just ignorant and stupid(though there are a large number of such people in India, in percentage terms they are the minority) I know a hell lot of fellow Indians who just can't distinguish between the people on both sides. We look similar, we dress the same way, we eat the same foods. Among the sane Indians there is little or no hate for the common Pakistanis. Most Indians(including those ignorant and stupid ones who hate on Pakistanis) like to think that we're brother's who used to live in a joint family but later split due to whatever reasons.
I will never respect the policies of India but that's its government I have a problem with, with normal Indians no problem at all. Some of my best friends have been and continue to be Indians, and some of the people who have made a big difference to my life are Indians.
Sadly on both sides of the border people cannot separate the hate and the dislike they have for the opposite government and the people.

I think you're both right. but how much influence does the average Indian/Pakistani have over their government's policies. how many vote? and how many are apathetic about the political process.

Glad you liked it. I am interested in pre-independence history. its so fascinating. Have you heard about Shah Hussain and Madho lal? He was an amazing Sufi saint and he had this powerful bond with one of his Hindu disciples. Both are buried together in Lahore. He had such beautiful poems. Shah Hussain | Sufi Poetry i also recommend some Pakistani dramas. My parents love them. I like Zindagi gulzar hai. It’s very realistic and quite interesting.
Really? Sacchi mein? We all know there are similarities and differences. Pakistanis are quite good looking tho. I mean so are Indians but they have this exotic appeal. Although since migration after partition included most areas in Pakistan..some would say similar looks exist in India maybe to a less degree. Especially i think Pakistani females are quite stunning. My Indian female friend has similar looks to a northern Pakistani girl and she took it as a compliment.
