yeah %age matters so if there are 3 ppl here from lesotho and 2 of them are illegal, lesotho becomes an immigration priority, 66% illegal immigrants are a large percentage :)

anyways, it was lowlife indians who were overjoyed to see Pakistanis get under fire, and there are going to be lowlife Pakistanis who will be happy to see Indians get under fire.

Illegal aliens if caught need to be sent back, how hard is it to understand that whether you are caught due to some security measures or for floating bad checks, if you are found to be an illegal alien you could be deported.

The challenge is for those who are in limbo i.e. have pending applications for assylum and residency.

Mr fraudia,

You are under the impression that Indians are rejoicing because Pakis are in the list. If Bangladesh can come to INS list today , India can definitely come tomorrow. Even if it is based purely on religion there are more number of muslims in India than many in the list.

Some 2 years back about 50 or 60 Indian IT professionals were arrested at Randolph airforce base, San Antonio, TX. They were working there since 4 years and many hard Grencards also. They all had valid visa and passed security clearance etc.

One fine morning INS people came to that place and asked all foreign workers to show their passport and visa. Since none of them carry these things to work anyway they were all handcuffed and taken to their apartments and bank lockers wherever they kept their passport and visa or greencard even after that they were taken to INS office. People from 2 companies were detained for an evening because paperwork submitted by their company in their visa application showed their place of work as Houston,Texas but they were working in San antonio which was 3 hrs drive from Houston.

Indian Tech lobby , Immigration Lawyers lobby, Silicon vally lobby , every Indian organization intervened. US State dept later regretted the incident.INS released them without any charges very next day. In between that humiliation to all these people were done.

INS has lots of power as far as foreigners are concerned. After Sep 11th do not expect any leniancy. Everybody is a suspect.

dude, there are enough idiots in both India and Pakistan that I am certain there are a group of low lifes that rejoiced. just like I am sure there is a group of lowlife Pakistanis who will rejoice at any difficulty or setback india or indians face.

actually if you visited yahoo discussion on that topic, you would be surprised at the number of such lowlifes. I did not say all Indians or all pakistanis will be pleased to see the other side run into difficulties..just the lowlifes.

INS rules apply to everybody. Nobody is "less illegal" or "more illegal". Illegal is illegal.

Many Pakistanis thought just because Musharraf is ally of Bush they can do whatever they want, including defining terrorists as freedom fighters. That's proved wrong.

chanda

why dont you go back and read what I have posted. I have no issues with illegal immigrants facing the law. My concern is with people getting kicks out of other people's hardships. and a hardship is not just deportation but the hassle of going through to register even if you are 100% legal.

Lets keep politics out of this. The discussion on political aspects of this has been done over and over, I frankly dont care what any Indian or Pakistani leader has to say about it, or for that matter leaders of Burkina Faso, Burundi and Lesotho.

You missed the entire point.

Yes..Fraudiya..Yes…I was waiting for the daily Burkhina Faso line..thanks :k:

you do realize this could be interpreted as a national insult by BurpinFasovians? the Lesothos don't care because they have no hands anyway (at least in this matter). BTW BurpinFasovian religion prohibits fingerprinting without gloves

hey, that country dunn get mentioned anywhere, I am building awareness of Burkina Faso. if you recall Lesotho is fairly new to this list otherwise it was just Burkina Faso and Burundi.

wrong thread sorry.

tu akhir bakrey ik amma bhi churri neechay agaye.

Man these indians were clebrating when we were going through this. Comming up with threads, from the outside showing sympthy and on the inside "ladu phoot rahey thay mann mein".

Well, you know I gotta give it to india and indians, they have really proved to be the worst or should I say the best enemy we have ever had. They never let go of any moment to embarrass us, give us bad name and spread propaganda against us.

But now it's your turn. Go take care of your people.

I don't see any reasons why Indian government would send its foreign minister to US to plead US not to do so.
