Yes more similar then dis-similar.......but that dis-similarity out weighs everything i guess....
The junoon of "who (religion) would RULE the area,would always play a part in the division of Sub-continent".....
Muslims of South Asia(let's say only being represented by Pakistanis,as "presumed" by most Pakistanis)have ruled the subcontinent for centuries,atleast 5 or 6 to be exact....& they(Pakistani Muslims)can't forsee a Hindu majority Culture/Government ruling them(Hence the purpose of Pakistan)...if you would assimiliate the total number of all Muslims in the South Asia....they would stand around about 450 million(against 800 Million Hindus,still a 1:2 Ratio)...This 1:2 Ratio was once the ruling party of India....Now you can find The muslim rule only in Pakistan/Bangladesh....with Indian Muslims ofcourse hanging in a Lingo(they have nothing but to accept the authority of Hindu majority ...so much so for the secularism,we are talking about the daily life here not the govt. as such right).....
The day India is again ruled by the Muslims (Of India ofcourse)...Pakistan would be even more similar to India(forgetting even religious differences etc)...i can bet you on that....
