back to topic; this hatred only spread by the hands of the educated elite. the ruling class be they muslim or hindu, they helped create this disunity in a people. the poor fellow down the street had only 2 choices, promote this hatred or be looked down upon by your own people which meant lose everything. easy choice eh.
but as for the ordinary people on the streets nowadays, there's hatred but it's deep inside, it will take only some patriotic movement to revive that hatred and voila, you will have another war. just think of gujrat, india not to long ago... or bosnia..

Its not about the hate or love on internet between the two nations. You people have to think about the major factor that is between two countries. You cant close your eyes and forget the reality. You cant forget the wars, you cant forget the independence movements , you cant forget the bashing of media on daily basis, you cant forget the Agents working across the borders and so you cant forget the politics of both countries on domestic and on international level.
People "like" to go on with each other BUT only for few moments or days, maybe due to some special needs or anything else. If they can get along so well why are there riots within Pakistan and also within India? Why people of own country cant stand with each other? WHY in Pakistan there are people who want to have a province as a country (Many want so), separate from rest of Pakistan? WHY there are people in India who dont want to be with india and want to be separated ( Southern Area [Burma and others] )
The thing is in this world majority is authority. You educate everyone or none, it has nothing to do with good-hearted people who were raised in a home or in a society where you are feeded with a better environment of kindness, gentleness and also according to the soft part of religion at first. Then you can think of getting together while not interfering into each other's belief, personal matters or creating misunderstandings. Although a fire is always started with a spark! You become of a part of it even if you dont want to.
