SAN FRANCISCO, April 7, 2004 (PNS) - Indian employees of Oracle Corporation, a Redwood Shores based database technology company, have mounted a fierce political attack to back stab Pakistan. Oracle Corporation, from its world headquarters in Redwood Shores California, in a telephone call to Pakistan News Service, disassociated itself from this hate campaign and termed the abuse of its e-mail resources as a ‘violation.’

Such a hate campaign is coming as a shock to many Pakistanis given the much publicized ‘peace process’ between Pakistan and India. “It is the first time, India has positively responded to Pakistan’s attempts at engaging India in dialogue for peace. It is sad to see the deep down hatred towards Pakistan in the hearts of the Indians,” said Naubahar Ali, an American-Pakistani woman.

The following are the excerpts from an anti-Pakistan e-mail message distributed by Indian employee using Oracle Corporation’s internet resources. This anti-Pakistan message contains fabrications regarding U.S.-Pakistan relations apparently to undermine Pakistan’s efforts in U.S. led war against terrorism.

PETITION TO STOP PAKISTAN FROM BEING DESIGNATED A “MAJOR NON-NATO U.S. ALLY”

The United States Congress will soon receive notification from the State Department to designate Pakistan a “major non-NATO ally”. This decision is intended to pave the way for easy access to US weaponry by Pakistan military dictatorship, a move that will not only destabilize the region, but also seriously jeopardize the security of the United States itself by putting lethal arms into an unstable country - arms that if captured by terrorists could be turned against US or allied interests anywhere in the world.

Indian employees at Oracle are circulating anti-Pakistan campaign initiated by USINPAC (Indian American Political Group).

“This email does not reflect the views or opinions of Oracle Corporation. If it is the case that Oracle resources were used for this purpose, then it is a clear violation of Oracle’s policy,” said Jennifer Glass, Oracle’s Vice President for Global External Affairs, in a written statement to Pakistan News Service.

Oracle is expected to take disciplinary and corrective actions to ensure its resources are not used for politically motivated hate campaigns.

God!, when I posed the question about Pakestan needing to exercise caution and being skeptical about Hind, I was targetted by Indians using this forum and they used things like culture etc. to try to justify their stance and they were trying to prove that I don't belong here .................................................

When will Pakestan open its eyes to all these conspiracies????
The Indians who are in power and well-off HATE Pakestan - I know Indian Muslims in Dubai who own businesses and are well-off and they say they HATE Pakestan and would not hesitate to stand behind their Muslim Indian President (Abdul Kalam) if he told the hindi army to press the nuke button!
And all this in the midst of "peace talks"! :are hindi movies and cricket that important to Pakestanis?

I ended up in a heated conversation once with an Indian Muslim as he said that in case of war he would stand by the Hindu Indian army against Pakistan. Indian Muslims have become slave to Hindu India.

As far as Isloo's viewpoint is concerned, I agree you can't generalize to EVERYONE but I never did that: I said MANY not ALL are like that.

While not apples in a basket are the same, I think the Indian Muslims in government and power are least bothered about Pakestan's welfare..............I mean what do you think of this hindi actor's views?
Why don't the sincere Indian Muslims you met invite this actor to good things? Do 145 million Pakestanis have to work non-stop for Indian Muslims' welfare while the 140 million Inidan Muslims can switch loyalties as and when they like???

Yeah i had this kind of debate also.

I think the muslims of india in difficult situation similar to palestine. They under pressure from Hindu militants and government.

If you remember Kargil situation lot of Indian muslims was supporting India and even the indian army many of them muslims fighting Pak army.

This why nationalism is forbidden in Islam if no nationalism exist then the muslims would be united under their belief alone and not pointing guns at each other.

but consider this, some people will decide on a particular course of action - there is nothing that can be done about that.
So what option does Pakistan have? To keep clinging to straws or to be alert and skeptical in the current atmosphere.

Why is it that Pakistan has to spend tons of energy on Kashmir whereas Indian Muslims go to Europe, Dubai, etc. and tell governments that Pakistan is a war-mongering state? Seriosuly, Indian Muslim politicians go around the world maligning Pakistan.

So Pakistanis, I personally feel, need to be more mature and realize that not all Muslims may in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh will support them. Be smart and play your cards right - and that includes trying to insulate people from harmful effects of cultural brainwashing in the name of "peace" and "economic prosperity". If Indian Muslims can be "pressurized" as you said, what's to say that Pakistani Muslims can't end up in the same situation if they are not alert in dealing with India: yes have peace with India but realize and be ready for a process that many Indian Muslims underwent to end with thoughts like the ones they have. So be ready to face this challenge instead of getting carried away by sports and cultural events blindly.

Can someone find out if this is true before casting aspersions on Indian muslims?

If I was Larry ellison,I would fire the whole lot. Social groups at corporations cannot adopt policy goals and leverage company resources to promote that policy.
