Watch The Temple of Doom on TV yesterday.
Re: Indiana Jones-Kindgdom of Crystal Skull.
Film's been out for a week. Has done almost record-breaking business ($300 mil worldwide in the first weekend) and there is absolutely no guppie review of the actual movie? Surprising.....
Re: Indiana Jones-Kindgdom of Crystal Skull.
wel i saw the movie on second daY OF release..anddddddd on 77MM screen....yesssssssss.new indyy baby is in the movie,,i mean futrure inidana jones,,
I watched it yesterday. It's really funny and action packed! Though, Steven Speilberg seems to be getting a little too obsessed with the whole E.T. thing.
Spoiler alert:
The flying saucer at the end kinda killed the whole movie. I thought it was really over the top. You gotta leave something to the imagination of the audience!

Re: Indiana Jones-Kindgdom of Crystal Skull.
Saw it yesterday. Gotta say it was disappointing. George Lucas has this fascination about aliens, and the whole movie had this very surreal alien theme. Towards the end it became completely comical; and it got me to one too many gimme-a-break moments.
I preferred Indiana Jones when he was more of an anthropologist and following clues about ancient customs and civilizations/secrets, this one felt more like a bad and lengthy episode of X-Files.
Unfortunately it IS a big screen movie, so if you intend to watch it, then don't waste it on waiting for the DVD. Just watch in the theater and get it over with.
Re: Indiana Jones-Kindgdom of Crystal Skull.
CRAP CRAP CRAP…
indiana jones is sooo budda to be surviving a nuclear bomb…yeh right…and the buddi mother fighting off the soldiers…wot a load of crap…so cheasy and this is the only third series which unrealistic…

george lucas only co wrote the script. he didn't write the story. spielberg is credited with the story, and he also directed it. just fyi.
people just don't appreciate amazing production job by these people.

Production over all was slick, as expected from Spielberg/Lucas team.
The whole plot and story was incredulous. The flying saucer bit was completely OTT. In the middle, the movie was dragging on a lot, for no rhyme or reason. Indiana Jones surviving a nuclear bomb by hiding in a fridge that was tossed around like a tennis ball, stretched all limits of incredibility (at least for viewers with more than 2 functioning brain cells).
But at the end of the day, its a movie. And folks should enjoy it for what its worth. Its no Raiders of the Lost Ark, by any means. There is a big built-in fan following for Indy Jones. We saw 10 pm show on a weekday (Tuesday) and while it was screened at the largest screen in the multi-plex, there were a total of no more than 13-14 people in the theater. Allowed us to stretch easily while the movie was rambling on. My wife is pretty sure I dozed off for a few seconds in the middle, but I forcefully deny any such allegation. :)

Temple of Doom was the best movie
