I didn’t say that, did you even read the study that was posted in the beginning of the thread:rolleyes:?? The fact that Indian youth growing up in India is more status oriented is the result of the study that was conducted.

well yea that's not what i'm surprised at. It's great that there is that strong work ethic and a desire to succeed. Everybody should be like that. The only thing that was really surprising for me was that the study said that most of the youth in India didn't give family and kids that much importance.

Indians tend to work hard when they leave India. Look at any office in US you will find Indians slogging in IT dept. late nights.
