Keep seeing ads for this.

Premiere of Slumdog Millionaire, some documentaries and some bollywood films from the 13th of January onwards.

i like that advert! does anyone know what the music in it is or who its by?
im guessing indian season means some bollywood films too, will look out for them lol:)

I cannit believe they are showing Slumdog on telly so soon. Its on on a school night, I cannit watch it :(

Channel 4 must have paid out of their arses to get the rights, or perhaps they've stopped paying for Friends reruns on E4!

I think it was part funded by Channel 4 which is how they got the rights to show it early.

the song featured in the ad(not the slumdog one,the other ad) is called O Saya by A.R.Rehman ft MIA if anyones interested :)

Rang De Basanti came on Wed 1am.

Stupid buggers that are Channel 4 - people have to work the next day you fools!

Did anyone watch the Slumming it Docu with Kevin McCloud? It was dead good. I loved the fact that hes so honest.

ach, theyve shown jodha akbar before man:frusty2:i wish theyd show stuff that isnt so old or stuff that theyve never put on before. slumdog they only showed cos they knew loads of people would watch it cos of the oscars win.

Milly - didnt see that documentary but theres one(tom. tomorrow i think)about a british indian millionaire slumming it in the slums coming up. that looks interesting.

i watched om shanti om for 1st time last night and it has got to be the worst movie i think i eva seen..... over acting 'wa da fish' pathetic storyline... when the kurri "came bk" i gave up... such drivel..
ch4 need their heads checking... rang de basanti is such a brilliant movie and they put that on at a time when everyone will be asleep and put the crapfest that was om shanti om at 10pm on a sat...... idiots.

I agree Funky Chicken. Rang De Basanti is definately a much better movie, I am a little pissed at channel 4. Write them an email, they get back to you pretty quickly, and if a guy named Adam emails you back, hes very nice!
