Indian vs. Pakistani Rice

Which rice company do you buy from? Do you think Indian rice grains are better quality than ours?

Just bought a bag of Shaan’s rice grains. Surprised the store was not selling Zebra rice. What other Pakistani brands are worth buying?

So far, in my opinion, best Basmati rice is Tilda and next best is Shaan

I like Tilda, Shan, Deep and Daawat, so I guess both Indo-Pak.

We have a Wafa brand here and it is far far better than Tilda.

this. most of the nicer brands are sourced from both india and pak depending upon seasonal pricing and availlability, bagged in the ME.

Zebra…never considered the Indian vs Pakistani thing…I just liked the quality and price…for the longest time Zebra was running buy 1 get 1 free :D…that’s why we switched over from Royal

When that promotion ended, we stuck with Zebra out of habit

i like zebra basmati rice which is imported from pakistan. Also, i would rather buy a pakistani product whenever I can.

we used Laal Qila, Tilda and sometimes #817 but recently we tried and found out that the Indian rice selling by the brand name Reserve to be the best rice. If you haven’t tried it yet, please do it now and you’ll see the difference.

I’ve always used Royal Basmati. Didn’t know there was such a huge variety or difference between rice from Pakistan.
