There is also a joke i heard about that show.
Here it is:
Bhola goes as a contestant on the show "kon bane ga karor pati". So Amitabh asks him " aap yahan apne pita ji ke sath aaye hain? And Bhola goes "yes".
Then Amitabh asks him "aap ke pita ji ka nam kia hai?" And bhola goes "yes". Again Amitabh asks the same question and again Bhola goes "yes". So this happens a few times and finally Amitabh getting very irritated says, " mai aap ke pita ji ka nam pooch raha hoon or aap yes yes kehte ja rahe hain. Aakhir aap mujhe apne pita ji ka nam kyon nahi batate?"
So at this Bhola goes "Pehle char(4) options to do".

well i had a good laugh at it....every thing is exactly the same....the format, music, even the set.
lekin they havnt copied just like that, they have paid to air the show :)
its just pathetic they copied each and everything (except to dip amitab in talcum powder and add a few more wrinkles) from its original american counterpart.

yeah I saw the show while I was in akistan, but I didn't like the way amitabh hosts the show, he's sooooooooo boring
regis is the best host I have seen
cause I heard that whil I was gone there was a canadian version with Pamela wallen and I heard she was really bad
but the show isn't bad otherwise, i just think it asks way too many hindu religion questions and cricket questions
I saw it this summer, both while in India as well as while in Pak. I enjoyed it- very similar to the English and may I say to the Italian one, which I watch at home at times! Amitabh obviously enjoys himself. The questions are obviously tailored to the culture and religion, but my friends assure me that anyone who has had a reasonable high school education in India should be able to answer the religion questions (both hindu and muslim) as well as the history questions (mughals are a common topic). No, my opinion is that it's as much fun there as anywhere else.
