You are all missing PD’s point.
However bad this man was, this incident should not have happened and could have been avoided with better security or by puting him in solitary confinement
But at the same time one must not generalize that things in Pakistan jails are bad
Watch Surjeet’s video that I have posted above and the one posted by Shamraz. He says himself that indian prisoners in Pakistani jails are treated much better than Pakistani prisoners in indian jails (post #76 bottom video @ 02:51) and that he was very well looked after in jail, food was excellent, meat served 5 times a week!!! Although he was tortured by Pakistan army after being arrested in 1982 (for 4 years from 1982-85), Surjeet was never tortured in jail.
