Re: Indian space Quest: Time to land on Moon
Every mission of whatever degree adds to human knowledge. Quest for knowledge is what which has kept human civilization flourishing for so long.
Yesterday ESA landed a craft on a comet and it cost them 1.6 B $. Not only the initial cost but to keep the staff and ground station engaged for its 10 years journey is no cheap affair.
Cost of inter space exploration is high and it should be on our priority if we want to survive as a species.
Also India is not reaching too deep in its pockets to fund the exploration for mankind. Its only a fraction of defence budget, defence is an unproductive expense which only eats money. Had the world came together without a need to fight with each other then imagine what could have done with trillions of dollars saved from defence.
Indian civilization is based on knowledge and it will keep on striving to gain more regardless of what naysayers say.
