What is the history of these non-Muslim Shahs of India like Bharat Shah (bollywood), Amit Shah (BJP).
Are they inspired of Muslims Shahs or they were there even before Islam?

yeah its a gujarati surname, and it doesnt have much to do with persian shah.

Ninja was in Poetry forum (Timepass thread last weekend) and it was conversation with him that lead to this thread. He was telling about Indian elections, BJP , Moodi and Amit Shah. :D

Interesting. Sadhu and Sahukar are two extremes and the term came from one of these terms.
This Sahukar is Shahukar in Sindhi, which means rich.
