Does anybody on this forum watches Indian serials or has anybody watched ‘Kora Kaagaj’. I have watched parts of it …it is quite good but slow. I believe it is still playing in India.
I would appreciate, if somebody can provide names of good Indian Serials.
My mother watches Indian Drama serials all the time, on Zee TV, TV Asia, here in the U.S.
Her favirotes are Tara, Andaz etc.

Will they give people Pakistani citizenship if they promise to watch only pakistani serials.
There was one called 'Sagar' I think that seemed a bit better. Sanjay Khan's 'The Adventures of Tipu Sultan' was a good effort.
But overall, Indian serials are pretty low on quality. They just don't cut it. You should stick to films.

well i do watch “Ghar ek Mandir” it is quiet interesting.
Too bad i don’t get any Pakitsani Daramas here

Where do you live? I think you can find them in almost most of the States in USA and Canada, and they are very good. I can suggest you one. Watch "Bandhan", it is such a wonderful drama serial. There are so many others like "Dhuaan, Chand pur ka Chandoo etc", I just don't get to remember all the names. but if you go to any Indian/Pakistani video store and ask them for Pakistani Drama Serials, I am sure you find most of them.
Nope... never got interested in Indian Dramas.
Like Elmo said, just stick to movies...watch an indian movie every now and then.
In Dramas, I can definitely say Pakistani dramas can't be beat. Too bad, I dunn get time to watch any usually ...unless my mom really recommends something and then I tend to find some time on the weekends. One problemo is that if I like a particular one, I wanna watch it in one go!
I dunno about any recent ones, but the other day I watched a relatively small one from PTV. I watched it for the second time around.
Its called Dhoop mey Saawan. I really recommend it to everyone. Very bold and commendable effort.

Some Indian Serials are very good 'Bunayad' is an excellent one. I enjoy Indian serials because of the familarity with the culture which is quite same as Pakistani culture but can also be very different- watch 'Udraan'- you will understand what I mean, it is based on a true story.
The place I go to has stopped bringing in Pakistani Serials, I don't know the reason. Thanks for the recommendations, I will see if I can find them.
