Indian Rock Music like you've never seen before

Okay, in an attempt to rectify some misconceived notions of Indians all being ‘light-headed Bollywood buffs’, I’ve decided to start this thread to give our pakistani members here a glimpse into underground and mainstream rock music from across the border- the kind of music you don’t get to ordinarily see or hear amid the babel of Bollywood hoeey (Ofcourse, bear in mind that this music is popular among young Indian teens and college kids):

The first is a song called “Voice” by Pentagram. I will attempt to attach lyrics wherever possible:

**“Voice”- Pentagram
**
Are we gonna ask the questions that scare me
Are we gonna break the bonds of silence
Will i find the truth in my reflection
Will i see the meaning of my defiant

Cuz there are words that must be said
And there are words that must be heard
And that they’re not as really quite absurd
And there’s a footstep in the clouds
And there is warmth in drops of rain
And there’s a meaning to the words i say

I need a voice now
Come be my voice now
Find me a voice now …. yeah
Come be my voice now
Give me the choice now

“PSP12” by a Mumtroit-based band called ‘Zero’- a hugely popular college band that shot to mammoth fame rivaled by few other bands in a couple of years.

“PSP12”- Zero

If I had the choice to make it alright
If I had the time to wait here all night
If I had my way
Then I wouldn’t hear you say
But I know I have to stay…

Ah… Ah… Ah… Yeah
Standing by, standing by, standing by, standing by,
standing by, standing by, standing by, standing by,
standing by, standing by, stay

By standing, by standing, by standing, by standing
by standing, by standing, by standing, by standing,
by standing, by standing by

If there were times that I had made it alright
If there were places I had stayed in all night
If there were reasons why
I let all these time go by
But now I’m waiting here tonight…

Ah… Ah… Ah… Yeah
Standing by, standing by, standing by, standing by,
standing by, standing by, standing by, standing by,
standing by, standing by, stay

By standing, by standing, by standing, by standing
by standing, by standing, by standing, by standing,
by standing, by standing by

What do I do today?
I cannot go away
What do I do right now?
I am here just here to stay

Standing by standing…
