British system of steam engine is only found in museum now we have diesel and electricity engine
British netowrk of small gauge again only esists in museum we have laid whole new broad gauge network..
Our delhi metro is nothign sort of world class even metro of toronto doesn't come close..
IN kolkata metro exists since last 20 odd years..
all done by india and indian enginner indian govt.......
IN fact British left the same legacy to pakistan too but pakistan railway remains in tatters while idnian railway has flourished to new heights
I said your countries rail system was built by the British. I didnt say anything about the trains themselves. India built its highways, Volkwagon builds cars, two different things.
The British are responsile for Indias rail network. Without them, India may never have built one on its own.
lol... Delhi metro is nice im sure, but this sounds to much like someone from a third world country marveling at his countries first toilet.
I suggest you actually go see the train networks in other countries before commenting. Have you ever seen the Tehran subway? Some traveling will help immensly.
There you go .... posting something that is irrelevant and has nothing to do with the topic ....... you emotions are showing vulcan !!!!
Oh so talking about the lack of toilets in Pakistan (WHICH IS WHAT I WAS REPLYING TO) is totally relevent to the discussion right, as long as its posted by your fellow baharati and is bashing Pakistan. Maybe my emotions are showing, but in your case, its your stupidity and prejudice.

No mr clueless.. as I mentioned indian railway is totaly borad gauge today and when british left there was no broad gauge anywhere.> i knopw you have no clue what broad and narrow gauge is and I understand why you are such an ignorant..
even those narrow gauge of british was confine to very small area today we have thousand times buigger network of borad gauge and that is fully indian
No mate when you use dubious picture to water down on of the** best railway netowkr in the world** then it become pertinent to show some mirror to pakistanis vis a vis their own rail network.. Ab aaina mein chehra pasan nahin aaya to ismien aaina ki galti nahin hai janaab chehre mein hi kuchh pareshani hai
Hahahhahahahhahahahahahahhah this is joke of the year
I Shared it with my other Indian friends and they are still laughing....
Please save my time, and yes these are imaginery friends who happend to be the auditos in one of the finest companies in the world and actually have some brains in their heads... so you see, they are imaginery, as not many of you got that Brain thing in ur heads...

No mr informed.. The point was that Indias netwrok was built by the british. You Indians upgraded it and modernized it somewhat, but it was the British netwrok that started it all. Without the British, India would have no rail system, and in fact, modern India would not even exist in its present form if not for the British and their rails...
If there were no British network in place at the founding of India, you would have had nothing to upgrade to begin with.
lol.. A rail network that allows India to exploit Kashmir even more easily then it did previously. Bravo!
I think the people of Kashmir would rather not be murdered en masse, or have their women raped and Murdered by your slodiers over your train netwrok..
Another lame attempt by the Indian propagandist to present the so called soft face of Indian occupation. Someone like you could easily swallow this dribble, but no one with any sense would ever fall for it.
So now rail and road network should not be built because it’s a tool of exploitataion.. I guess this is why POK is still stuck in medievela times .. let those poor souls get exploited let us keep them in dark ages..
I guess for same reaon you have no road rail network worth any mention in baluchistan too.. Marvellous way of stoppping exploiatation.. for some reason same rule doesn;t apply in punjab there road network and rail netwrok are welcome..
you my friend have outdoen yourself on hypocricy scale

What a ignorant comment. Height of ignorace.
Yes, India rail netwrok is a means of exploitation. Just as the British Rail netwrok was a means of exploitation.
Your so ignorant of Balochistan is mind boggling.
You ever hear of the Mekran coastal Highway connecting Karachi to Gwadar? There are also National highways connecting all of the major cities of Balochistan with plans to extend the rail and highway netwrok across the province.
The reason why the system in Balochistan isnt as extensive as in the rest of the coutry is because its a very sparsley populated province. It has eery few people and relatively small towns.
A country builds highways to cover major traffic area and areas of high population. The US Highway system is quite extensive in the East and west coast, but the West and South west are not coverd as extensively simply because it lacks the population to justify building a vast network of highways there.
Get yourself an education before you start your pointless rants.
Metro transit is under construction all major Indian metros(Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad). By 2012 or 2013 most of these cities will have their own metro transit system. Delhi and Kolkatta already have up and running metros.
