Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh extended an invitation to Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani to watch the semi-final of the cricket World Cup between Pakistan and India in Mohali, on Friday.
According to Indian news channel IBN-Live, the Indian prime minister will be watching the match between the two countries in Mohali.
The foreign office has confirmed that Pakistan has received the invitation from Singh and that no decision had been made on whether to accept the invitation.
“There is huge excitement over the match and we are all looking forward to a great game of cricket, that will be a victory for sport,” Singh wrote in a letter to Zardari, according to a government statement.
“It gives me great pleasure to invite you to visit Mohali and join me and the millions of fans from our two countries to watch the match.

They should go although its quite shameful that 2 adult leaders of 2 nations, need "cricket" to talk on serious issues effecting more than 1.5 billion people directly.

I dont agree. It is only for a photo op and to send across a message. they really needed to talk then manmohan knows that there is no point talking to pm or president of pakistan.

Sorry i'm not familiar with Betting business so enlighten me a bit ..... India favorites to win so u get less money back of what u put on and vice versa if Pakistan win ????

Don't mind Gilani showing up but I don't want Zardari cheering us on, asshole. On the other hand, if someone could get him killed there it would be a victory for Pakistan regardless of the match result.
