I didn’t know that there was Indian philosophy like there’s Greek and Chinese etc. What are characteristics of Indian philosophy? Or is Hinduism generally understood as philosophy?
Sabah, chinese philosophy is also a religion.
India has had a great tradition of ascetics. You can call them religionists or philosopher, makes not difference.
IMHO (and I am in no way a Hindu aalim) most of the Indian philosophy is embodied in Upnishadas an Vedas. I will post more on this later.
