Do any of you happen to know of any good books in english… with short stories or common myths from India/Pakistan? I’m looking for fairytale or folklore type material.
indian mythology would mean mostly mythology in hindu/buddhist/jain/sikh books. pakistanis dont associate with it though history of their lands has all these influences.
secular mythology would be mostly love stories like heer-ranjha etc.
