I understand what you and fruadz are saying 99. You are failing to understand my point. My issue is more to do with England in particular. Paki is not a religion based (hindu), or looks oriented (dothead) insult. It is more regional. why Paki?
My point is not that a hobo called me Paki and I am upset for being referred to as one. (god knows… some of my best friends on the internet are Pakis). It has more to do with the term “Paki”. Subcontinental legacy goes way before partition. Is there a competition for resources between the hobos and the Pakistani community that such animosity exists?
The type of Brits that use the term just don’t think that hard about these issues before blurting out these niceties. Trust me I know.
Ask your average Gupta who runs an Indian restaurant in Leicester say, if he’s ever been called Gunga Din? Now are you going to read something into that?
In America they would just call you Gandhi and walk away… Somehow, calling someone someone Gandhi and faking an Indian accent is supposed to make you feel bad.. Go figure
CH… you are a disgrace to all New Yorkers. Is it that difficult to send the freaking schmuck to hell? Come on man. An Englishman, drunk or not, is no match to any New Yorker, drunk or not. That reminds me why I was deported (well almost) from the United Fking Drunkard Kingdom. Next time if someone bothers you, kick the ******* in the face.
NYA: I think I decided that to kick a brits ass is too easy and not worth the time. So I did the next best thing. I gave the bum some money to walk around town with the sign" I got a union Jack in my pants".

Just because you and your two white colleagues dont know about it doesnt mean it never happens... I know a Pakistani friend, who had a big fight in the US because some idiot kept saying 'run little hindu, go back to india' to him...
Chaltahai, when the hobo saw you, a well-dressed middle aged South Asian, he immediately thought of success and Paki. The fact that he appears to pronounce his ‘u’ as ‘oo’ (as in fookin), leads me to believe he is a Geordie. As you are of-course aware, Geordies are ‘Xtremely’ honest and his compliment should be taken seriously
