Indian Muslims

This is just a friendly question for the indian muslims.

Why do you not like Pakistan?

*After all it was a part of India and was formed only to protect the muslim interest.
*The total number of Muslims in India was almost the same as the number of Hindus at the time of separation. ( correct me if I am wrong on this one )
*All Muslims were welcome to move to the newly formed country(s), although I do understand that it is not very easy to relocate huge masses.
*After all we are the same race, religion and culture and speak the same language.

Please reply with real reasons and not just hateful responses.

Thanks

**was it?

**30-35%
*
All Muslims were welcome to move to the newly formed country(s), although I do understand that it is not very easy to relocate huge masses.
**All muslims moved from Punjab/Rajshtan etc due to short distances. ONLY more fanatic ones moved from other states hoping to rule the backward and nearly illiterate muslims of punjab/blochstan/nwpf.
*

After all we are the same race, religion and culture and speak the same language.
**is it same race and culture as the hindus?
*

Better read the book "Legacy Of A Divided Nation" by Mushirul Hassan.

Then you'll know why Indian Muslims have nothing to do with Pakistan.

*Yes I do like india. (the country...but cant say the same about you)
* Please provide link etc.
*That is your negative attitude talking.
*and yes Muslims in all of India were the same culture...Please read my statements carefully.....I never mentioned Hindus.

I already see that you have a monkey on your back. So never mind replying further.

My question was directed towards the "muslims" of india and not towards people of other religions.

Harbouring hate is not a good thing.

If your religion does not teach you that then it is only your fault in practicing it. What good is a way of life it only constantly eats you from within constantly?

Never generalize a whole nation as good or bad. I have met some very good Hindus and some very bad Muslims. (and yes I am a Muslim)
What is political conflict between India and Pakistan should no be taken at a personal level.

Re: Indian Muslims

*After all it was a part of India and was formed only to protect the muslim interest.

** Its a wrong notion that you got through your text book. It was a result ofpolitical ambitiona of few on both the side.Result is muslims are divided in 3 nations. It didnt help intrests of all muslim.may be it helped 1/2 of them**

*The total number of Muslims in India was almost the same as the number of Hindus at the time of separation. ( correct me if I am wrong on this one )

** No ..it was around 40% .Which is same as now if you add Muslim of all three nations now**

All Muslims were welcome to move to the newly formed country(s), although I do understand that it is not very easy to relocate huge masses.
*
Yes...All were welcome. But few choose not to desert their mosques and Qabristans and property. And if they all have moved there wouldnot have been any space left for people to live in pakistan.**
After all we are the same race, religion and culture and speak the same language.
*
Not true.Only Religion is common. But then Muslims of subcontinant also share same culture with most of Hindus also.**

I've never said I differed between Muslim and Muslim. I only said you have to understand the viewpoint of Indian Muslims, their attachment to their birthplace, their historical and social bondages and their struggle to earn a decent livelihood. Without understanding these aspects, you can only sit in amazement and wonder why there's no fellow feeling on a grand scale.

I've not said Indian Muslims hate Pakistan, but I've said they have nothing to do with Pakistan. Many have plenty of relatives living there, but they're bogged down in their day-to-day living and are more concerned with their existence in India, their country to which they rightfully belong.
If an Indian Muslim supports India's viewpoint on Kashmir, your ilk will brand him as traitor but you'll never understand on what ground they support Kashmir's accession to India.

And if you talk of dividing the Muslims, then better point your fingers towards Kuwait and Qatar who're presently aiding and abetting the slaughter of fellow Muslims.

The borders were openned till 1957 whoever could make it was welcommed.

This much is true: Indian Muslims have been hating Pakistan more than the Hindus sometimes. I thought it was very symbolic in that India-Pak world cup match that Zaheer Khan the Indian bowler tried to take Rashid Latif's head off with a nasty bouncer.

It is a difficult question and probably don't have an answer. A lot of muslims migrated who saw an opportunity in a newer country but there are many more who lost everything but preferred to live in a country ruled by muslims laws. It can be questioned whether we implemented the Islamic laws or not. It is untrue that only people from Punjab and Rajisthan migrated because there are many people in Pakistan from UP, CP, Hyderabad and Bihar (who migrated after the creation of Bangladesh). Some of the muslims who didn't migrate were in love of their land and some of them thought they might be better off in India because of their position and status. Saying that I don't blame them for choosing to stay in India coz we all make decision based on what is good for us and so did they.

These guys are as much muslim as i am jewish.

so u r jewish really. was surprised to know that.

Munnabhai.

what does cricket have to do with the…forget it.

I see that the replys to most of my statements are varying, depending where they are getting their stats.

Anyway Ali_R I like your opinion expressed above.

And to Gangu _Teli all I have to say is maybe you should read more than one book before you make a change in your personality and question the authenticity (verification of facts) of the book and also listen to the other side of the story. Sometimes it does make you change your mind for the better.

Oh and you were expecting Lollypop from him.Dear he is cricketter and he was doing hi Job.
Since Razzaq dropped sachin's catch does that mean All Pakistani love India.
OR
Shoib was so generous to Indian, does that mean all pakistani's are hospitable to Indians. ;)

I think it all boils down to cricket somehow. heh

Which again is a British introduced game. I wish the national pasttime of Pakistanis was Gulli Danda!

Personlly I have never met a Indian muslim who hated Pakistan. Most of those muslims in fact hated the hindues of India.

I dont think its about hating other muslims or not but rather the goverments of the socalled muslim states. I have no high regards about any goverment in the muslims countries but it dosent mean that I hate ordinary muslims of the same nations.

Basically its anti islamic to hate a member of your Ummah. Anyway I wish the best for my muslim brethren of India may Allahs blessings be upon them.

indian muslims future is in grave danger and gujarat is a testament to that.
