MURADABAD: Even being Muslims for centuries, a Muslim family in India has been associating with the profession of building idols for as many as 40 years though this profession has produced them no weighted fruit from financial aspect.
These days, preparations for a carnival renowned as Dasera is in full swing in India which marks the victory of an Indian Devta (idol) Raam.
As being professional in manufacturing idols, this Indian-Muslim family is busy up to neck in making idols as the Dasera festival is in the offing.
This carnival would last for 10 days whose initial 9 days are known as Navratri.

Well this is the case when the population does not turn to the Ulema. We have ignorant folks like these everywhere in the world, more likely in these countries where the Hindu religion is influential in the day to day lives of these people.
There was a time when the Ulema had a fikr (not that they don't have now), that time they went out to the localities that faced these problems and convinced the people about the Haq using wisdom. These days, people do not turn to the Ulema like they used to, we consider Shahrukh Khan or Baba jee on TV to solve all our problems, when the solutions to our problems all lie in the Sharia. If we do not consider our knowledgable people more important than Salman Khan, then sad to say, more of this will happen,. ignorance will spread. It's time to recognize the true scholars of our time and promote them so the true Islam can be spread..

I am going to take a different view here:How do the hindus feel about these muslims making the representations of their deities? Seems pretty weird,I wouldve expected some Brahmin group to have cornered the market on this very important industry.
