here is the admirable attmept by the indian muslim elite to remove the poverty, ilitaracy and parisitic attitude for development as a whole. please do visit the web. educated, secular and sensible muslims in india will define tomarrow’s peaceful, secular and strong india. Their objectives are

Not required. Religion is about one's own faith. The people who believe in love and peace, have respect for others privacy and faith are advanced. It does not matter what religion they follow.

I, as a hindu, am proud to be an Indian. My muslim brothers are equaly proud to be Indian.

The only way muslim masses in India can excel and have equal access to eduction and other opportunities as their hindu counterparts is through massive conversions…

Have you ever stepped foot on Indian soil? You have absolutely no idea about Indians(Hindu,Muslim, Christian, Jew or Zorastrian) so stop typing away on issues you know zilch about.....thank you:)

Muslims in INdia were and are the bottom most community, financially speaking. They're in a pathetic, pathetic state. Such initiatives would be of much help hopefully.

slaveofallah is an indian muslim and his mother is a school teacher. He/she has said countless times that his/her mother has tried to get the few illiterate muslims in his/her neighborhood to a classroom to educate themselves but she was not completely successful. I have no idea if this is the same situation in all parts of India....

it would be best to hear what Indian Muslims have to say about this issue.
the 40% of Indians that are illiterate are not just Muslims, this includes Hindus as well as all faiths of India.

go to the web friend..what more proof u require for secular indian society. No doubt there are miscreants which can not be ruled out in such a big nation. and they are both sides. but the 'indianness' is not the new phonomena now. both sides are merging to form one strong 'indian side' and not at all at the cost of their religion. they are practicing it with the same dedications as the muslims in the other part of the world...perhaps more freely and religiously.

he is not one in couple of millions but one in billions ( including hindus). he is the richest indian not richest muslim in india.

how about our hon president..you want more muslim people doing well in india and working hard for indian society..

point is that...indian constitution is for all of citizens disragarding thier faith, religion or sex. c'mon accept it

Most of the low labor class in India [jamadars, cooks etc. ] comes from the Muslim community, they do not rank anywhere on a per capita income basis, and there was a Time magazine report quoted somewhere on this forum which substantiates that. You can search for that.

Everyone knows how they're restricted to certain old ghettos in the Indian cities.

Its a fact -- the Muslims who had the money left India for Pakistan. What was left behind is the scum, which is [rightly] being thrashed by the majority Indian population, financially and otherwise.

The few examples of the Indian president and other stuff you quote are exceptions. Talk about the population as a whole, not just some vague examples.

^ Holisitc approach = S&T = Science and Technology & Quran and hadith. Meaning should advance in S&T without sacrificing principles present in the Quran.
