ymirza,
Your originial reply implied that you approve of having a "relationship" with a non-Muslim but not marrying them.
Is that what you were trying to say?

I think by relationship it means you can be friend non romantic non sexual ,like brotherly friendship ,family friend, working colleague.
It is important to differentiate between such pak relationship from the other not only in public but also in these days in our bedroom through internet chat rooms, various flirting love forums that abound.
Muslim + Ahl-e-Kitaab = believing in ONE GOD
Hindu + sikh = believing in 100's of devi devtas
Muslim + Hindu = Confusion! Confusion! Confusion!
Hindu + Ahl-e-Kitaab = WHO CARES!!sab god chalaingai
Muslim + Muslim = LA-ILA-HA-ILLALAH and MUHAMADUR-RASUUL-LULLAH
so which equation will you prefer?
which equation produces OFFSPRINGS with the beliefs you want to see them follow?
Masooma
Muslim + Muslim = LA-ILA-HA-ILLALAH and MUHAMADUR-RASUUL-LULLAH
thanx masooma for the graphic illustration. You know i talk to girl from toranto who said she doesnt want to marry moslem b/c it would be co sanguinous??She a moslem doesnt know that islamic ppl. are from multiple races Punjabi, sindhi, bengali, urdu ,hyderabadi .So marrying moslem doesnt mean marrying within the same race for hose who are concerned about gene mutation & inbreeding.PLz. let us know what u think about inbreeding ??
Asalam-u-Alaikum
Islam never restricted marrieges among race, but it never said that its FARZ. The only thing which is important is marrying someone who share same idiology and beliefs as one does, so that there are less chances of uncompatability between couples. Race has nothing to do with decision making about who to marry.
I didn't really understand the point you were trying to make by raising this question. Please clearify your question once again, and i will try my best to answer.

The point i raise that these days there is concern about genetic abnormality & need to difersify the gene pool.My feeling is that moslems being diverse as punjabi ,hyderabadi, bengali, urdu, etc.can intermarry ,if there is concern about inbreeding among your own ethnic /sub group.Like instead of marrying christians, hindus, jews, sikhs for avoiding inbreeding you can marry different race within moslems.i hope its clea
IF YOU ARE NOT TOO MUCH CONCERNED ABOUT GENETICS OF MARRIAGE ,ITS NOT IMPORTANT.
oki doki
Although interreligous marriage particularly without the partner of moslem NOT CONVERTING is very low in America,a retrospective study of all marriages in Islamic center of New england did reveal that one moslem girl married a hindu after divorcing her moslem spouse .Even in moslem to moslem marriage divorce although lower than national figures about 25% still is a high figure among moslem marriage.I try my best to present marital related issues that directly impact the future moslem born & making sure the new generation has the oppertunity to be good moslems as we have had-=- Aamin.
very low means how low. in how many cases the male was non-muslim who converted. again what is percentage of divorces within country. what hapens f female was non-muslim who converted for marriage but divorced later. are kids still brought up as muslims. or maybe if ur report is on net, u can give a link to it.
