sorry to come across as offensive and inflammatory that was not the intention. I realise they are non-muslims and I understand the reason why but I just don’t see why the government should call them non-muslims or why Ahmadi girls studying in college should be discriminated against or expelled because of this or have to hear anti-Ahmadi sentiments in class. I have heard about this on the express tribune documentary.
I was just offering an alternative approach so that to outsiders it does not come across as being discriminatory and at the same time you protect their rights. What happened with Dr Abdul Salam when he was declared a non Muslim despite being a Nobel prize winner, is it right that he had to live away from his homeland and spent his last breath in a foreign land?
As for discrimination against minorities there have been articles on how the blasphemy law has been used to target minorities. I don’t think many Pakistanis agree with that.

What you might not know that A-Salam on his own left the country as a protest. So if you want to blame anyone then blame A-Salam himself. Bhutto Asked him to stay but he did not.
