I wouldn’t portray it as grimly but it certainly is a sore situation.
Indian enjoy this because they get a chance to nanga Pakistani women and humiliate Pakistanis.
You can’t imagine the hue and cry if the situation was reverse.
Then we would know how broad-minded Indians were.
Sub-continental sense of honour is pretty much the same in this regard.
BTW, Pakistaniyon ki kam-bakhtai started a long time ago with Salma Agha, Anita Ayyoob types, in this matter.

wait. wait.. aaj to Ali Usman ke threads ki information kaam aa rahi hai… Sanam Baloch’s tele film from TV one had very suggestive scenes as well… There was a line ‘Insaan khasare main hai’.
Indus TV dramatised ismat Chugtai’s short story ‘Till’, those who have read story knows how much crude the last lines of the story are. if Musharraf got rule for some more years, i’m sure we would have sen dramatisation of Ismat’s ‘Lihaaf’ and Manto’s ‘Thanda Gosht’

It has to do with people reading between the lines. Scenes don’t have to depict nudity to be explicit. Things can be implied, in some cases, heavily implied and this makes said scenes suggestive/explicit.

I can post the link of drama.. there are some scene in the beginning of drama… both Mehwish and Shamon lying on bed in way… Husband and wife in intimate setting…

But ladies at home knew what was going on, as story of the play was showing basis for such behavior. It was telectased at prime time without any PG warning

This is more like a formal Western outfit.
If she was a Westerner visiting Pakistan on official duty, Pakistanis would not consider it offensive.
Arms and legs are exposed but it is not odd like the backless choli of Mehwish Hayat item number pic or the HM/IH picture.

Yes, that is what I'm saying. Just because something does not have nudity, it does not mean that it is not suggestive/explicit.
