Dubai-based security firm takes action after man celebrated mosque attacks using a fake Facebook profile

**DUBAI: **An employee at a Dubai-based security company was fired and deported for celebrating the deadly New Zealand mosque attacks under a fake identity on Facebook.

?Over the weekend, a Transguard employee made inflammatory comments on his personal Facebook account celebrating the deplorable mosque attack in Christchurch, New Zealand,? the Transguard security group said in a statement.

?Despite posting under a false name, the employee responsible for last weekend?s inflammatory (Facebook) comments has been identified, terminated as per Transguard policy and handed over to the authorities.?

New Zealand bans assault weapons, triggering similar calls in US

Transguard, which is affiliated with the Emirates Group that includes Emirates Airline, said the man had been deported by the UAE government. It did not name him or reveal his nationality, but social media users identified him as an Indian.

?After verifying this person?s actual identity, he was apprehended by Transguard, stripped of his security credentials, terminated from our employment and handed over to the relevant authorities as per company policy and UAE Cybercrime LawNo. 5 of 2012. As of this statement, he has been deported by the UAE government.?

?We have a zero-tolerance policy for the inappropriate use of social media, and as a result this individual was immediately terminated and turned over to the authorities to face justice,? said Transguard Managing Director Greg Ward.

An Australian white supremacist shot dead 50 Muslims praying at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand on Friday.

The attacks sparked global revulsion and drew condemnation from the United Arab Emirates.

In a statement following the attacks, the foreign ministry said the UAE stood in ?full solidarity with the friendly state of New Zealand to confront extremism and terrorism and? safeguard the security and the safety of its citizens and all residents?.

Well if they do not list the NAME of the person, it may not be genuine story! Just Fake news to get their publicity! :disgust:

well we all know Indians were celebrating this attack on facebook and i can show you thousands of screenshots of such indians praising the attacker… Indians make almost 50 to 60% of foreign work force for UAE… It’s not a rocket science to figure out who this guy would be…

Then why not send them ALL INDIANS HOME! :hoonh:

We should take similar actions for mocking killing of minorities on Pakistan

Yar banda wapas bharat maata ja ke BJP ya shiv seena ka ‘Neta’ ban jaega. And in next government he’ll be taking oath as Modi’s minster.

Better off than keeping an eye on CCTV camera in UAE whole night long and still getting underpaid

Good if true.

The culprit was apprehended, fired from his job and living, and was deported to his own country. To me that is punishment enough. Publicizing his name risks his safety as we live in a dangerous world and always exposed to extra-judicial vigilantism and threats. What he did was deplorable, hateful and racist, but he might still have a family and loves ones and nobody deserves to live in constant fear for their life.

I wonder why the UAE authorities did not prosecute him for cyber hate crimes? Anyways.

^^ No one here suggested “publicizing his name” so where did you get that from? Cloudy as always.

The talk was about making his NATIONALITY public. If you have not noticed all the major print/electronic media in the middle East & Asia & partly in Europe & America too is sponsored by rich UK, US or other overseas country-based indian business men. Hence all those media outlets around the world have instructions by their indian owners to never make the nationality pubblic incase of Indians criminals but particularly target Pakistanis & muslims incase any crime happens & there is even a slight hint of a Pakistani’s or a muslim’s involvement. Even if there is a bunch of criminals, they’ll publish, “1 was Pakistani” & will never mention nationality of rest of the criminals.

This campaign started 25 years ago & continues. They purchased the most neutral unbiased news goups & turned them all into biased venom spewing machines whose objective was to tarnish & ill repute Pakistani muslims around the world but especially in the middle east & asia. If you or anyone else has been blind & ignorant to it all your life then it’s not others fault who are aware.

Uff itna bara lecture!

A large section of our society has indeed praised these unfortunate incidents

So we are going to punish innocents for killings elsewhere in the world?

What about other minorities??? Are the killing people in Pakistan as well!

Mostar, again typing from your toilet seat? What scale are you using to measure “A large section of our society” that, as per your assertion, “has indeed praised these unfortunate incidents”??? Can I see that scale? Where do you keep it?

It took you & friends 3 days of hard work to find some piece of news / evidence to support your invalid & offesive allegation but you couldn’t find any, so just pasted links of terrorists attacks on minorities in Pakistan - The same terrorist attacks which killed more Sunni muslims than any other religious group. Sunni mosques were bombed more than any other. But no criminals were caught simoly because all those terrorist attacks were sponsored by pakistan’s enemy through various local groups to inflict chaos, instability & erhnic & religious unrest/disunity between various groups. Main purpose was to detsablize the whole country.

So again my question, I want to see the scale you got to declare that “a large” portion of our society praises such killings. That’s a very disgusting lie.

Secondly, the baseless allegation you’re trying to put on entire Pakistani society was actually your attempt to object to that company’s action against that Indian. Most prolly, you were very offended reading the news.

I stand by my stance, your post was actually an attempt to object to a good action of a UAE-based company to deport an Indian hater by stating a lie supported by nothing. You’re a munafiq.

Most of the Sunni targets were the braelvi or Sufi people being blown day after day and the not hardline takferi parties

^^ They could be any sector of sunnis but none of those sponsored terrorist attacks inside Pakistan prove your lie that “A large section of our society has indeed praised these unfortunate incidennts”.

Secondly, this topic is about one single Indian hater out of billions rejoicing all over the world. If a single one was caught & punished by his employer doesn’t mean the rest would be too. It was not about terrorist attacks in Pakistan and how many sectors and communities were attacked. Even though you tried to give it a spin to put Pakistanis in a bad light instead of that Indian hater of the topic but it didn’t work. So you can open a different topic to state your lies and bogus 'evidence.

Thank you very much! I give up here!

Pakistani Sunni Muslims and their deflections whenever legitimate issues are brought up about how religious minorities are treated in Pakistan needs its own thread.

well whenever something happens around the world and we open thread about it… some idiots go off-topic and bring Pakistan into the discussion to divert attention… Well we never made claims about pakistan being a paradise, and definitely there are problems in this country just like there are problems in US or NZ or Europe… but this thread is not about Pakistan or its minorities.. this thread is about an Indian who is deported for celebrating the NZ attack… If you are so much concerned about minorities of Pakistan, then you are free to open separate threads to take out your frustration there… Plz don’t kill the purpose of this thread by dragging other issues in… thanks..

There is already one person here who justifies killings of innocent people in Pakistan!

Ifs and buts do!
