I think Yuvraj is right to a large extent! however, i’m not sure abt the death threats he is talking abt … I think cricket fans should learn to accept defeat with grace, after all there is only one team who gets to win … media also creates hype and hysteria … I wonder how his fans going to react to all this … certainly, not very pleasant! :stuck_out_tongue:

anyhow, I’m just glad that Pakistani fans showed sanity and maturity by being loyal to their team in spite of whtever happ and gave them a very warm welcome!!

Re: Indian fans lack sportsmanship: Yuvraj

he was called "waterboy" by many indian fans when he couldnt get into the side a few months before the WC..... hahahaa...

totally agreed that a lot of fans take sht tooo seriously.. with all the effigy burning and house stoning.. its not just lack of sportsman spirit its borderline barbarianism..

Re: Indian fans lack sportsmanship: Yuvraj

Even yuvraj accepts it :hehe:

Re: Indian fans lack sportsmanship: Yuvraj

He just reiterated:

Support your team not results

Re: Indian fans lack sportsmanship: Yuvraj

Agree with Yuvraj. Indian fans swing between both extremes - hero worshipping the cricketers after a win/good performance and effigy burning/stone pelting after losses/bad performances. They need to grow up.

Re: Indian fans lack sportsmanship: Yuvraj

Re: Indian fans lack sportsmanship: Yuvraj

its indian media to be blamed. they play single imagery or a few seconds anonymous clip countless times, perpetuating propaganda.
