On July 14, 2013 a former Under Secretary of India’s Ministry of Home Affairs Mr. RVS Mani, submitted a declaration to the country’s highest court, the Supreme Court of India, that both the 2001 terrorist attack on Indian Parliament and 2008 Mumbai terrorist attack were staged.

This alarming revelation by a senior serving Indian government official has brought to fore what many analysts stated earlier that these were classic false flag operations, deliberately initiated by Indian intelligence agencies aimed at achieving certain specific objectives. Both these incidents which India alleged that Pakistan was responsible of, almost led the two nuclear armed neighbours to the brink of a major regional conflict which could have resulted in a nuclear war. False flag operations are defined as covert operations designed to deceive the public and foreign governments in such a way that the operations appear as though they are being carried out by other entities, groups or nations than those who actually planned and executed them.

There are many more such examples where state run Indian intelligence agencies routinely conduct false flag operations which result in numerous deaths and injuries. However, surprisingly the Indian media does not highlight such acts in the manner. A recent example of involvement in acts of terrorism by a senior Indian Military Intelligence officer Lieutenant Colonel Shrikant Purohit is a case in point. He was involved in many acts of terrorism inside India which resulted in numerous deaths of Pakistani as well as Indian citizens. The acts perpetrated through his support were deliberately and purposely portrayed as the job of Indian Muslim terrorist groups.

The conduct of such false flag operations by Indian state run intelligence agencies, raise many serious concerns. Probably emboldened by the perception that whatever India states against Pakistan or her neighbours with regards to acts of terrorism the world perceives it to be the truth, India does not even hesitate to perpetrate such acts of state terrorism against its own people and used these acts as the veritable arm and extension of India’s foreign policy objectives.

Is the Indian Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) taken in to confidence before such acts of state sponsored terrorism, couched under the ambit of false flag operations, are planned and executed by Indian Intelligence Bureau (IB), RAW or Military Intelligence. The Indian internal environment notwithstanding, such operations have serious ramifications at international level as well and could lead to unwanted regional wars capable of spiraling in to a nuclear exchange.

It is therefore all the more necessary that the government of Pakistan must impress upon Indian government the futility of undertaking such operations which could lead to disastrous consequences. The international community may also realize the dangers associated with such false flag operations which may have the tendency to cross the redlines defining nuclear thresholds.

The world may not see this the way people look at it here, but this is where it matters and the fact remains that the perceptions here in Pakistan have changed drastically. Those who went overboard trying to drag Pakistan in these incidents within Pakistan now have difficulty proving their credentials. India has lost big within the public perception in Pakistan.

Pakistan can now quote Indian officials statement while it interacts in the world for a, despite the fact that Mr. Mani may be forced to retract it later.

It is now for the Indians to impress upon their government to change the way they conduct their policies towards their neighbours as these policies not only kill people from other nationalities that visit India, it also kills Indian citizens as well.

I wonder why did the former Under Secretary of India’s Ministry of Home Affairs Mr. RVS Mani, said the same in a declaration in India’s Supreme Court, which was first quoted and reported by many Indian news papers - all as part of a conspiracy.

Good, finally there are some conspiracies which conspire through Indo-Pakistan cooperative ventures.

And do the US neocons have a Muslim named neocon zaid hamid as well - didn’t know that.

I honestly feel that instead of shunning such news and analyses as conspiracy theories or that no one would believe this as India may be a soft power, The Indians may like to stand up and have the courage to openly discuss such aspects within India, as we in Pakistan do discuss similar aspects openly in the media. After all, in most cases than not, it is the Indians themselves who get killed and it is the Indians who have made such news public.

The Indians here may not agree with me but this has been taken from Indian web-sites which clearly state that there are over 140 armed secessionist groups fighting for secession from India. Why are they doing this - not necessarily because the Pakistanis or other neighbours of India send in terrorists inside India to commit acts of terror. Such movements etc only spread if there is dissension amongst the populace and thus support from within.

And what Khan A. Sufyan states is a fact, as in both the instances that he explained, Indian Parliament and Bombay attacks, the chances of war with Pakistan and thus its escalation to nuclear level could not have been ruled out.

In my honest opinion, it needs serious discussion within India and should not be discounted as a Pakistani conspiracy theory.

India and Pakistan a totally different story-wat Pakistan did in early 80s(radicalising the society) is the main factor for this unrest in country we have our own share of problems but considering the size of India is nothing- India is full of tourist almost all the year if there was such a serious problem than nobody will be willing to come to India-if I get a free ticket along with a free accommodation to vist Pakistan than also I will refuse as there is no value for life-

Radicalization of Indian society is happening even as we speak. And this is being undertaken by leading Indian politicians. Mr. Modi who is a Prime Ministerial candidate of India, recently called Indian Muslims "Kuttay ke Bachay" on national television and identified himself as a "Hindu Nationalist" which is a euphemism used for Indian Hindu extremists. The rape epidemic in India has reached alarming proportions and has emerged as a societal epidemic. Heck, Mr. Modi a few days ago even said that English is not good for India.

Yes we have problems in Pakistan. We are fighting a war against terrorism in parts of Pakistan and are suffering. But I tell you, we are a resilient people and we will not be defeated by people here whose thinking is akin to Modis of India. We will fight them and defeat them.

The resilience of Pakistanis is visible in all major cities and towns of Pakistan, despite the acts of terror. Yesterday I went out for iftar in Lahore. I could not find a place in most of the restaurants and hotels, even in McDonalds and Pizza Huts that I visited and had to stand in line to get in. I daily see women and girls driving cars late into the night in Islamabad and Lahore and other major cities and see girls in large number enjoying themselves in all of the restaurants etc. The bazaars are full and one finds it difficult to even get parking place. If you think that we will be defeated by a limited number of extremists, you are sadly mistaken.

Like you said that every country has its own problems. But when a country even as big as India, kills its own people to further its foreign policy objectives, it is time for the Indians to rise up and speak against it instead of hiding it under the carpet as it may bring bad name to India.

Mr. modis state Gujarat is one of the most happening place in India its the most advanced it gets da maximum amount of FDI in India-he does not issues fatwa against women and all kinds of different stuffs which maulvis in pakistan issues its a shame-cant compare india with pakistan any more the world compares India with china and pakistan with afganistan (AFPAK)-ever happens to see the size of indian economy its industries-a single indian company reliance has more trading value than the entire Karachi exchange-but at the same time it is true that we had our own share of problem but than every country has

Though this is off-topic, please, bura mat manna. But since you have raised the issue, let me reply.

According to the World Bank, India accounts for the poorest nation in the world. Let me highlight some of the aspects here:

  • The population of people living below the poverty line in India is the highest in the world and the problem is not going away.
  • Some sources suggest that now almost 60% of the world’s poor now call India as their home.
  • It is also the country with the highest rate of Malnutrition among children under the age of 36 months; a massive 46% of infants.
  • There are an estimated ten million prostitutes in India, a quarter of the total number of prostitutes are minors. Indian girls account for 80% prostitutes in world -according to some estimates.
  • Nearly three million girls were “missing” in 2011 compared to 2001. Girls are considered a burden on society. Female infanticide is leading to an ever-increasing imbalance in the sex ratio.
  • In 2010, 8391 dowry death cases were reported across India, meaning a bride was burned every 90 minutes, according to statistics recently released by the National Crime Records Bureau.
  • According to the latest figures released by the Government of India, a woman is now raped in India every 20 minutes. Despite the increase in sexual violence the number of convictions is falling. Delhi is the rape capital of the world.
  • Female tourists have shunned India in record numbers since the brutal gang rape of a 23-year-old student on a Delhi bus last December. There has been a 35 percent decline in the number of female foreign tourists and a 25 percent decline overall since the Nirbhaya attack.
  • More than ten million Dalit women are raped. Though they remain untouchable yet it is ok to rape them. More than 2000 rape victims in Kashmir have come forward and their cases have not been heard. Today in India, a girl is neither safe inside or outside of the womb.
  • The latest UNICEF data shows that one in three malnourished children worldwide are found In India, whilst 42% of the nation’s children under five years of age are underweight. It also shows that a total of 58% of children under five surveyed were stunted.
  • India is home to 170 million slum dwellers: 63% of all slum dwellers in South Asia and 17% of the world’s slum dwellers.
  • Over the past 15 years, a scourge of suicide has claimed lives of an estimated 250,000 farmers in India. And the death count is still climbing, according to a new report by the Center for Human Rights and Global Justice (CHRGJ) at New York University. “On average, one farmer commits suicide every 30 minutes in India,” said Smita Narula, director of the CHRG.
  • It is predicted that the population of India will surpass the population in China by 2025. In the past numerous years, the rapid rate of rise of population has impacted the quality of life of the people in India. Experts believe that if the population continues to rise at the same rate, it will devastate the country.

I am not saying that Pakistan is any better. We are also sailing in the same boat. Lets not get into something both our countries suffer from.

And getting back to the topic, I am only stating as was stated in the Indian press. And what Khan A. Sufyan is stating in the article should be taken as a serious matter and Indians should discuss the viability of continued killing of its own people in India by its own intelligence organizations merely to malign Pakistan. Is it worth it – you tell me.
