Re: Booming India expects 9.2% growth.
Very few Indians share this friendly outlook towards Pakistanis..
Re: Booming India expects 9.2% growth.
Aalsi bhai the only useful thing in your title post is your hope that neighboring countries (which includes the steadily improving Pakistan) also follow in the same steps as India (in terms of progress only though.. not which way)..
I’m sick and I’m tired of hearing the ever-blatant Indians boasting about their criminal culture.. although every sensible entity in the world should know that this supposedly “progressive” population represents a teeny-weeny percentage of the whole 1b+.. and majority of the population is below poverty.. I know it’s a large population but still their neighbor China can manage it so why can’t they..
^^ A bad comparison to Pakistan’s fairly happy middle-class majority
, also you should notice that the division between the rich and poor is more dominant in India
Re: Booming India expects 9.2% growth.
Pakistan's economy is growing at over 10% every year
And once Gwadar is build and fully operational, the revenue that we will generate will strengthen all of Pakistan

Re: Booming India expects 9.2% growth.
9.2% is phenomenal and will nicely compound the effect of this year's outstanding 9% growth.
and i'm not sure which is more gratifying for indians: the excellent news in the article...or the extreme anger and jealousy that it has generated within our enemies (as seen in the above responses). :)
Re: Booming India expects 9.2% growth.
Well m2k dont even compare Pakistan and India, India is far ahead, in so many departments and its like comparing apples and oranges. Well, this is what i advice to my indo-pak friends, it utter stupidity.
Brother 10% of what 100 billion dollars. Well we have 9% of 765 billion dollars.
Calculate in numbers, not in percentage.
Its like i h ave a busines of for eg $10 and grows by 10% its just $1.
You have a business of $20 and increase by same percentage its $2. I know you understand, but at times they are others who are curious to about India.
I agree, India is going throught all this problems, well look into your own holes and stich it if possible, because the logic you throw up and the tantrums because India is growing.
I consider, you all think too much about India, so much concern, instead you are not anti-indians. Seems like you are pro Indians.
The saying goes the real friend is the one, who lets know his friend the real truth, instead of praising him for all wrong things. Thanks a lot.![]()
Re: Booming India expects 9.2% growth.
pakistan’s gdp growth rate is nowhere near 10%.
it is closer to 6%.
Re: Will India destroy the United States?
Here are some examples of their daily conversations:
Indians are the real "Aryans." The Human Genome Project shows that Indians are closely related to Africans. Thus Indians and Africans are the real "Aryans."
All people of European descent (i.e. all whites) must be exterminated
Blond hair and blue eyes are inferior traits. By the year 2090, all people with blond hair and blue eyes will either be bred or executed out of existence.
One day India will invade and take over. It is India's destiny to rule over whites.
Christianity is a disease that can only be cured with a bullet
Is this the thought process of your average NRI?
Re: Booming India expects 9.2% growth.

Brother let them have even 20% but why compare Indo-pak. WE are way ahead in technology, economy is amongst top 15,they are th ings which are improving, well in that case 10 years back and today India is improved a lot.
The middle class can afford a car easily is this not improvement.
Well, move further the employment opportunities are increasing damn, my friends ofcourse software with less than 2 years of work-ex are paid a fortune. Well, everyone is improving people are flocking from villages to cities, the same thing happened in the US too.
But it takes time, well the improvment is evident, well Allaah knows the best.

Re: Booming India expects 9.2% growth.

Pak 'growth' is not 10%.
The growth that has occurred is built on a house of straw's.
Once US/Western support from the war on 'terror' goes, Pak will be back to the bad ol' days.
Gwader is beset by problems, house prises there have plummeted because of the fighting.
India has a bright future, sadly Pakistan does not.
Re: Booming India expects 9.2% growth.
Well said..dear…You summarised all replies in one beautiful sentence and it’s a lesson to those who were distracting away by usual anti-India and anti-Pak prejudice..Nothing can be said better than what you said for this
As a matter of fact for Centuries India was ruled by foreigners..It’s hardly 50 years since independence and 10 years since we have been opening up our economy..Elimination of poverty, discrimination, castism, division over language and religion etc..all these problems cannot be eliminated within a year or two..there is nothing like miracle..we have to accept what we are..though it’s good that Pakistani critics highlight this problem every now and then to keep us on track and not be complacent.
A complex country like India with more than 36 official languages and home for people of all Religions in the world is a democracy..is it not an achievement? With so much diversity in all areas..there is bound to be conflicts. When people of all faiths co-exist together, it’s natural that their will be occasional conflicts among them (someone said it right when two vessels are kept together, they make sound)…
The steady growth rate of more than 9% for a diverse nation like India is admirable, those who think it as a joke, must learn more about India’s complex political system, with each regional parties having their own “local” interests..The reforms which government introduces for privatisation often receive resistance from Communists, on whom the present government is surviving.
If some foreign agencies find that India can sustain it’s growth, it makes Billions of Indians to feel proud..After 50 years of Independence- facing armed conflicts with Neighours, natural disasters, internal rebillions, still we are well on course. I am sure in next 50 yeras poverty will definately be eliminated considerably if not completely.

Re: Booming India expects 9.2% growth.
Pakistan’s gross domestic product, as measured by purchasing power parity (PPP), is estimated to be US$439.7 billion
Indias GDP as measured by purchasing power parity (PPP) is US $4.042 trillion
**GDP growth rate
India = 9.2%
****Pakistan = 6.60%
Pakistans Per capita income (PCI) stands at $2,803
India’s per capita income of US $3,700**

Re: Booming India expects 9.2% growth.

get your facts right and i am still open for LOGICAL debate

Re: Booming India expects 9.2% growth.
There are tons of things Pakistan can learn from India, of what to do and also of what not to do. What to do is simple and can nto be disputed, education, free markets, decrease corruption, more innovation etc.
what not to do to learn is how to have the effcts trickle down properly. I was reading an article just today which I wil share.
However, all the issues that India is facing should not take away from the immense amount of development and good work that has been done there, and Pakistan needs to take that playbook and follow suit, while side stepping the errors that were made.
47 percent of Indian children under the age of five are either malnourished or stunted.
The adult literacy rate is 61 percent (behind Rwanda and barely ahead of Sudan). Even this is probably overstated, as people are deemed literate who can do little more than sign their name.
Only 10 percent of the entire Indian labor force works in the formal economy; of these fewer than half are in the private sector.
The enrollment of six-to-15-year-olds in school has actually declined in the last year. About 40 million children who are supposed to be in school are not.
About a fifth of the population is chronically hungry; about half of the world’s hungry live in India.
More than a quarter of the India population lives on less than a dollar a day.
India has more people with HIV than any other country.

Re: Booming India expects 9.2% growth.
well.. i think is the main challenge for india and pakistan is to keep control on the growing population.
The main cause of every problem is overpopulation.
