point being could he have been shafted, maybe, but at the same time he could have been not teh right fit, or maybe he was the right fit, but someone was better. The ackowledgement though sounds a little strange, if thejob requires different skills, the questions will not be just on aspects one specializes in but on all aspects, and interviewers then dig deeper in areas they want tto get a better understanding of a candidates skills. I have done it, I have faced it. Thats just how it is. I think ppl make excuses in this case to make it someone else's fault. Does it happen, by all means, but probably not as much as people want to think it does.
his argument was, if he was not right fit for that job, then should he be called for the interview in the first place. As i said, he did acknowledge some of his own drawbacks also. anyway leave....he got a job at some other place
