It is match day between India and Pakistan. On his way to the ground an Indian fan, wearing his teams shirt and with his face painted, gets run over by a bus. He ascends to the gates of Heaven to find an Angel wearing a Pakistan shirt. The angel looks at him and says “Sorry mate, no Indian fans in here.”
The Indian is shocked. He replies “but…but…you can’t do that. I’ve been really good all my life.” The angel decides to give the Indian fan a fair crack of the whip and says “Ok, what have you done that’s so good?”
The Indian begins “3 weeks ago, I donated £10 to help orphaned children in Africa” sensing the angel is not impressed he continues “And 2 weeks ago I gave £10 to aid inner city children fight drug addictions.” The angel stands there without expression and so the Indian carries on “and…um,er…last week I gave another £10 to help medical development in India.”
The angel stops him “Ok, ok, let me go and discuss this with God.” He leaves the Indian stood at the gates of heaven and after having been gone for some time he returns and begins “Ok, God and I have discussed it and we’re both agreed - here’s your £30, now piss off!”
