INDIAN COPY TOO MUCH

Hey, are you surprised that while watching an Indian movie and a song dance number comes up you can’t help but say, I’ve heard that tune somewhere? No,its not a mistake. Chances are you are most of the times right. See, Indians are tired of coming up with original songs so to speed things up they just steal American/Pakistani songs and take the tune and put their own words in. Here is a list of songs that have been in Indian movies that were copied from somewherelse! :

Hindi Song: Dil Maka Dina (Dhaal)
Copied From: Macarena (Los Del Rio)

Hindi Song: Tumne Jo Kaha (Laawaris)
Copied From: Barbie Girl (Aqua)

Hindi Song: Tumhe Kaise Main Bataaoon (Dastak)
Copied From: The Windmills Of Your Mind (The Thomas Crown Affair)

Hindi Song: Paayal Meri Jaadu (Rajkumar)
Copied From: Faith (George Michael)

Hindi Song: Na Tum Bolo (Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge)
Copied From: A Whole New World (Aladdin)

Hindi Song: Ae Mama Haan Bhaanje (Silsila Hai Pyar Ka)
Copied From: Dr. Jones (Aqua)

Hindi Song: Chim Chimni (Ghoonghat)
Copied From: Chim Chimney (Mary Poppins)

Hindi Song: Kya Kehna (Kya Kehna)
Copied From: Oh Carol (Paul Anka)

Hindi Song: Aate Jaate (Maine Pyar Kiya)
Copied From: I Just Called To Say I Love You (Stevie Wonder) This one my friend informed me of..I was like, yeah it does sound like Stevies song!

Hindi Song: Dole Dole Dil (Baazi)
Copied From: Come September (Theme)
Note: Another copy of the Come September tune is Nazrein Mili (Raja)

Hindi Song: Aisa Zakhm Diya (Akele Hum Akele Tum
Copied From: Sweet Child In Time (Deep Purple)

Hindi Song: Ladna Jhagadna (Duplicate)
Music Director: Anu Malik
Copied From: A-Tisket A-Tasket (Children’s song)They were desperate for a tune so they used a childrens nursery rhyme!?!?!

Hindi Song: Ek Sharaarat Hone Ko Hai (Duplicate)
Copied From: Slip And Slide (Laura Allen)
Note: Only the “la lai lai” tune is copied.

Hindi Song: Yunhi Kat Jaayega (Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke)
Copied From: Lovely Lady Of Arcadia (Demis Roussos)

Hindi Song: Tumse Milke (Parinda)
Copied From: When I Need You (Leo Sayer)

Hindi Song: Neela Dupatta Peela Suit (Hameshaa)
Copied From: All I Wanna Say (Michael Jackson)
Note: The beats and opening portion are inspired.

Hindi Song:I Was Made For Loving You (Jaanam Samjha Karo)
Copied From: I Was Made For Loving You (Kiss)
(Big surprise.)

Hindi song: I love you I love you I love you
Copied from: Allah Hoo ( Nusrat Fateh ali Khan)

Hindi song: Tu Cheez Badi He (Mohra)
Copied from: Dum Mast Qalander (Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan)

Hindi song: Say Shava Shava
Copied from: part of the song where shahrukh daydreams of being with Kajol(tere kadmon ko saswaar doon etc),the tune is taken from Batiya Bujhae Rakhdive by Shazia Manzoor

I’m sure there is a bigger list out there as I always hear a Indian song and tell myself I have heard the tune before and can’t place the original song. If I have missed anything you know, please let me know.
When will Indians stop copying other peoples song?? They copy from American and Pakistanis all the time and yet are not ashamed! They should be pursued by the original song writer and be sued. I bet most of the American artists don’t know their tunes are being stolen. How sad and shameful.
Next article of mine: when Indians title their movies after a previous movies song title.
Example: Na Tum Jano Na Hum is titled from Kaho Na Pyar He’s song of the same title

Re: INDIAN COPY TOO MUCH

Re: INDIAN COPY TOO MUCH

This is only entertainment but they are a nation of copycats without their own history, culture and identity.

Now they are trying to ape Americans, when British ruled them they tried to be Brown sahibs, shaking their heads from side to side with "yes saheeb, no problem saheeb, I worship you saheeb", no wonder they can still speak English..

In the past too, look at their dominant "North Indian" Sanskritic languages, they have their roots in the Vedic Civilisation of Ancient Pakistan (Indus), they adopted them from our forefathers and discarded their own Dravidian languages (in the olden days even North Indians spoke Dravidian languages).

When the foreign invading Muslims ruled them they tried and copying the foreign Muslims (their architecture such as the Taj Mahal is thanks to the Uzbek Turks, Sherwani suits are thanks to the Persians, Salwar Kamiz is from Pashtuns, decent food is also foreign, Biryani/Pilow is Pashtun/Persian, Vindaloo is Portugese, Balti and Rogan-Josh are Pakistani...

..That's another thing that's been on my mind, I'm sick of Pakistani and Bangladeshi resteraunt owners labelling their places as "Indian Resteraunt/Takeaway", Goray people love these foods and the credit should go to Pakistan and Bangladesh or South-Asia as a whole not India, I hope the Mullah's make themselves useful for a change and come up with a Fatwa declaring food from takeaways called "Indian" as Haraam, come on my Muslim brothers (Pakis, Bengalis) give your own countries some recognition in the world, we might be smaller but we've more culture..

Re: INDIAN COPY TOO MUCH

^blah, blah and blah.:D. Dont u have anything else other than ethnicity to discuss. How much u deny, u r one hell of a racist.

Re: INDIAN COPY TOO MUCH

Is it really any surprise? Indians copy everything, steal everything. They're like a leech on Paki history. Indian history is basically paki history, at least all the great civilizations like Indus Valley, and Vedic civilizations. Indians would only be able to quote these two civilizations as their great ones. Even their historical achievements are copied. Panini's works, Pingala's works, the number zero all were invented by ancient Pakistanis, yet they claim it as their own simply because they stole the name India from Pakistani Vedic peoples.
