An Indian convicted of burning a compatriot to death was beheaded in Aseer in southern Saudi Arabia on Saturday.
G Krishna allegedly burnt one Madrasa Iqbal to death, while the latter was asleep following some quarrel.
The Saudi authorities do not inform the foreign missions ahead of the execution of expat convicts, according to Indian embassy sources.
This has made it difficult for embassies to keep track of or defend those accused of serious crimes, they added.
This execution brings the total number to nine this year in Saudi Arabia, one of the countries with worst human rights record.
In 2004, Saudi authorities executed 35 people and 52 the year before. Many are publicly beheaded. As per Sharia rule, Saudi Arabia gives death to those convicted of murder, rape and drug trafficking.
this is not about religen both pakistanis and indians are equally abused
I have a cousin who went from Pakistan to work in Medina for a hotel owner. They took away his passport, paid him peanuts for long hours that eventually he had to “steal” his passport to go back home. Corruption and greed is rife amongst Saudis and there is a high level of non-Arab racism.

Saudis do discriminate and exploit against non citizens, esp. if your from the sub continent or a developing country. The police/court are more likely to take an arabs word over a non arab, hence you mostly hear about them being jailed or executed. Is the situation the same in other arab nations too?
If a Muslim murders a non-Muslim in Saudi Arabia, will he get the same punishment? I doubt if law is same for all in a religio-racist system.
One should obey the law of a country. Such words sound very sensible. But in India the Muslim community opposes any interference of common civil code in their personal Islamic sharya laws. (Off course only in civil matters.)
In criminal matters they do not demand the implementation of Sharya and love the Indian panels.
