Indian arrested for German woman’s beheading

MUMBAI — Authorities in Pune arrested a real estate agent yesterday for the murder of an elderly German woman whose beheaded body was found in her home, police said.
Gudrun Corvinus, 72, was an archaeologist who had lived in Pune — about 220km south of the financial hub of Mumbai — for several years, a police spokesman said.
Corvinus was looking to sell two apartments in the city, and was approached by the agent, who tried to force her into signing blank documents, police said. When she resisted, the man stabbed and then beheaded her.
“The accused confessed to the murder and we have recovered the head from under a bridge about 10-12km from here,” a police spokesman in Pune said.
Police entered Corvinus’ home late on Saturday after a friend of the murdered woman lodged a complaint when she did not hear from her for several days.

I have a serious question for LKC and ak47 - you see a name of the criminal, in this case Ittilaque Faqir Mohammed Sheikh, and automatically brand it terrorism.

if a man kills some old lady to make a quick fortune and get away with it, its called HOMICIDE not terrorism.

Man this is so sick. Indians at what they do the best. I guess we are we going to see a real life "Hostel" in Pune or Pondicherry sometimes soon now...and while I'm on it, I also have a hunch that some Gaayey Ghansaali director of theirs will already be busy rehashing that film in their own setting -- and boy would it be apt or what!
