Is there a reason Indian weddings I assume the same is true for Pakistani but not sure have 2, 3, or 4 hundred people at them? I can’t envision having that many friends to invite. And I personally dont know how my parents have hundreds of friends. Some of them are old but most are current. Maybe it’s some desire for immigrant families to hold onto any people of their same culture. I don’t think most American weddings have this many people.
Yeah, most of the Pakistani weddings that I've been to have had at least 250 - 400 people. In the community, everyone seems to know each other really well, so everyone gets invited. Also, all your relatives included, it makes for quite a big wedding at times.
i don’t know. i wonder the same thing. where do these million (seems like) ppl come from. its really embarrassing when u don’t know who they are either. i mean i just had graduation, and it was ridiculous. I felt like an idiot not knowing everyone and felt bad. i can’t even imagine my wedding

:D Good question 714. I guess I just feel it's not the right time for me at the moment. I have some things to take care of in my life currently, so hopefully in a year or two, Insha'Allah :)
